Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing cma with bcom currently. Doing bcom togethers will give me and additional degree merit when i look for job. Semester exams are held twice per year. Our municipal college comes under sambalpur university so all the colleges registerted under it has the same question paper.

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 8500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees per year for Bcom students is 8500. with compulsory additional examinations charges. No other charges except if you stay in hostel (only for girls). There are a lot of financial aid for st/sc/obs who provide valid documents in the scholorship website.

Campus Life

Festivals and event happens almost every week in the college. the seniors and juniours are very friendly to talk with. The infrastructure provided by the management is top notch in our college. Commerce department has a separate building too.

Admission

We have a website called sams where we have to select our colleges ranked based, municipal college was in my first and i got selected in the first round itself. The reason I choose this college was because its very well known for commerce in my city.

Faculty

The teachers and the hod are great in our department. the syllabus has recently been changed by the govt and the bcom course is of 4 years now. The exams mostly consist of theory questions which are moderatly easy to pass. All the teachers in our department are the best no complains.

My Experience at PN College: Campus Life, Cources, and Everything in Between

Placement Experience:

In our college, final-year students are eligile for campus placements. While i don't recall the specific companies that visited, one of my friends interviewed with Axis Bank and got selected with a package of around 2.4 lakh. The exact percentage of students are placed and details of average or highest packages are unclear to me, but the placements process provides opportunities of those actively seeking jobs. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue an independent career rather that seeking a traditioinal job placement.

In our course the ratio of facility and student is 7:250.
