Learning experience of 4 Years

I appeared for AIEEE(All India Engineering Entrance Exam) and applied for colleges affiliated to MDU, Rohtak. I opted this college, because of the faculty, facilities for students and curriculum.

In 4 Years, I studied various subject, but my main electives were Subjects related to Computer Science like Databases, OOPS, JAVA, Algorithms and others related to these.

Number of companies came to hire for Full Time jobs but not internship. As it was B.tech. 8th Semester was a compulsory internship at an organization and everybody was placed in some company working on their particular projects which had the marks of whole 8th semester result.

TPO of our college was quite active and hence, Many companies came for placements and around 90% were placed by the end of their final year. Most of them were given joining as soon as they graduated. Offered packaged range from : 2.4 LPA to 4.5LPA.

Events were celebrated in every department and whole college level too .Annual fest every year in month of March or April. In my time, Whole cast of Houseful 2 came to be a part of us and had a huge celebrations.There are many sports fest, coding competitions also.

Fee structure is feasible as compared to other engineering colleges. Except normal semester fee there are other fee also which we will have to pay if we will use the facilities, like college bus, hostel, mess etc.

I didn't get the scholarship but one of my friend got a good scholarship. Loans can be availed by any bank as it is a registered College and they will not hesitate in giving loans to students.

Campus life was pretty exciting. They gave me chance to explore my hobbies as we had debates, technical fests, competitions. Institutes and companies use to come and deliver seminars on new evolving technologies.

We have groups and alumni page on fb and linkedin through which we stay connected. Almost all the seniors are there and we try to connect other students whenever possible.

Exams were from MDU, so the structure was pretty good .Questions were 20 Marks each and lengthy.We have many computer labs and it didn't leave hectic day , also, we are allowed to move to labs for our pending work whenever we have time.Faculty is always there to help during labs.

Faculty were very supporting and educated. They never hesitated in helping students with their doubt. One of the faculty named 'Sandeep Negi'. He was my mentor in projects, and a very helping teacher from the start of my B.tech.
