Remarks
I have taken the admission in this college by giving West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination in 2017. Students have to apply for WBJEE on their website, fill out the form then submit the application fees which are 500rs. then have to appear for the exam. After giving an exam based on the results they have to appear on counseling and choose Colleges from the list. There was three round of counseling. After counseling based on the college that has been allotted for individual students have to take admission to those colleges if they want by booking the allotted seat.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen electronics and communication engineering. The faculty and students ratio was good around 1:25. Every faculty was m.tech qualified teaching skills was average. The exams were semester wise and there were 8 semesters which were normal.
Placement Experience
In the 7th semester, students become eligible for placements. Companies visited here are DXC technologies, Alliance, Accenture, Byjus, Capgemini, Cloud Kaptan, etc. The average package provided was around 3.5 Lpa highest one was 10lpa. The placements percentage was around 50%.
Fees and Financial Aid
The semester fees were 35000/- and the overall cost for 8 semesters will be around 280000/- there were 4/5 companies came for campus placements. There were opportunities to appear in govt exams. There was no financial assistance. That's a drawback.
Campus Life
Annual tech fest named 'Technotronix' takes place around April/May of the year and cultural fest named 'Ullas" around may. There is a library with lots of books. In the classroom, there is a light fan and in the laboratory, there is a computer and various required machines for practical.
