Remarks

I want the college to consider all the factors for admission. College should provide some relaxation on fees for students who couldn't afford the fees. The student should be guided properly about the courses they are taking.

Course Curriculum Overview

The exam was taken in a proper manner at the suitable time they were supposed to take. Question papers were tough and allowed 90% of students to pass the exam. Our college had taken all the safety measures during the offline exam that was held.

Placement Experience

College has provided us with the campus placement offers. Many companies have practicipated and offered jobs to many students. The highest package was 3,82,000 by delloite for profile of associate analyst. Other companies like Wipro, tcs.Also visit our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for the courses is high it extra all included the electricity bill, lab maintenance, insurance, etc even when the class is going online. They should cut down the fees a little. I got a scholarship form e-kalyan

Campus Life

The Xavier fest was good when it was held and all the programs and competitions and plays were good. The environment at the college was friendly and the professors were friendly and supportive nature. Books were available in the library for students.

Placement Experience:

Semester 4h students are eligible for campus placement. TCS , WIPRO ACCENTURE and too many companies are visited college and minimum 60 to 70% percent student get placed. 60 to 70% percent student get placed. If i get the jod from campus placement and self then i perscue job with higher education, if i doesn't get the campus placement then i prepare for central and NIT college entrance test .

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the beginning of my 11th and 12th standard I'm very fond of Physics and mathematics that's why I choose to persue honours in physics and also there are more opportunities and jobs after bsc in physics compared to other streams. In bokaro steel city college the faculty: student ratio is not that great(1 per 250 students) as it is managed by state government. The qualification of teachers is above average (Almost every teacher has a P.hd) but the quality of teaching is not that great. Teachers often miss there classes and there way of teaching is very boring. On usual exams are taken in a interval of 6 to 8 months. But due to covid situation the exams got very much delayed l mean upto 10 to 12months. If you can complete the syllabus just by having few glances of the topics and follow the previous year question its quite easy to pass the examination by securing good marks. But most of the students always fail (almost 50% every semester).

Remarks:

In reality, this college has more negative remarks than positive. Some good part is that it has some great teachers. Their best course is B.Com for which it is famous. They organise some sports tournament that is appreciable. Overall good college to complete your degree and make Foundation.

My memorable journey of St. Xavier's, College, Ranchi.

For my course, selection was done on the merit basis. Any student who has completed his high school with 90+ marks in English was eligible for this course. The application form, fees, and dates, everything is appropriately available on the college's website. Yes, if you belong to ST/SC you are given reservation and relaxation in the cutoff. Exans are held regularly in a proper manner. The difficulty level of the exams conducted are moderate to high. Admission process involves both online mad offline process and sometimes takes couple of days. It should be resolved and made easy as students come from far places....Read More
