Remarks

For Bsc Computer Application, one should have Physics, Chem Maths in 12th.The application forms,fees and dates are provided in the college website itself. The admission process is quite smooth in the college and many teachers are available for queries.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because it provides various opportunities as well as scope. The faculty; student ratio is 2:3. The professors are well educated and their teaching methods are excellent. The topics are explained in depth. The exams are well scheduled and its difficulty is of moderate level.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like TDG partner, VCap money, etc. arrive for internship opportunities and provide stipend of almost 10000 per month. Various projects regarding web development, Android development and AI are provided which help the students improve the overall skill as well learning new things.

Placement Experience

Students for sem 4 are eligible for campus placements. Many companies approach CA as well as IT students. Big companies like Wipro, Deloitte, Infosys, LTI come for placements. Average placement is 3 LPA and about 60-80% get placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of Bsc Computer Application is 50000 per year. The course duration is of 3 years and scholarship are provided on the basis of caste which helps in financially. Various companies approach for placement with stipend of 20000-30000.

Campus Life

College fest occurs 2-3 times in a year mainly in the month of September, December, and February. There is one large common library and one medium-size library per department. All books regarding the syllabus are present along with some books related to competitive exams. Many sports and extra curriculum activities take place in our college. Rotaract club and NCC are present for helping needy people.

Placement Experience:

Semester 4h students are eligible for campus placement. TCS , WIPRO ACCENTURE and too many companies are visited college and minimum 60 to 70% percent student get placed. 60 to 70% percent student get placed. If i get the jod from campus placement and self then i perscue job with higher education, if i doesn't get the campus placement then i prepare for central and NIT college entrance test .

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the beginning of my 11th and 12th standard I'm very fond of Physics and mathematics that's why I choose to persue honours in physics and also there are more opportunities and jobs after bsc in physics compared to other streams. In bokaro steel city college the faculty: student ratio is not that great(1 per 250 students) as it is managed by state government. The qualification of teachers is above average (Almost every teacher has a P.hd) but the quality of teaching is not that great. Teachers often miss there classes and there way of teaching is very boring. On usual exams are taken in a interval of 6 to 8 months. But due to covid situation the exams got very much delayed l mean upto 10 to 12months. If you can complete the syllabus just by having few glances of the topics and follow the previous year question its quite easy to pass the examination by securing good marks. But most of the students always fail (almost 50% every semester).

Remarks:

In reality, this college has more negative remarks than positive. Some good part is that it has some great teachers. Their best course is B.Com for which it is famous. They organise some sports tournament that is appreciable. Overall good college to complete your degree and make Foundation.

My memorable journey of St. Xavier's, College, Ranchi.

For my course, selection was done on the merit basis. Any student who has completed his high school with 90+ marks in English was eligible for this course. The application form, fees, and dates, everything is appropriately available on the college's website. Yes, if you belong to ST/SC you are given reservation and relaxation in the cutoff. Exans are held regularly in a proper manner. The difficulty level of the exams conducted are moderate to high.
