Remarks

St Xavier's College Ranchi is one of the prestigious colleges of Ranchi having wide range of courses. Admission procedure-- as soon as the application forms are out you need to fill them being honest with all details and documents. Then you have an entrance test after which list of finalized selected students are out. Selected students move further for admission procedure which is in an online mode only. Candidates must have 50% aggregate and should be from science background for Bsc CA.

Having an interest in computer subjects made me choose this course. The faculty is highly qualified and well experienced. The student-teacher ratio is 2:30. As in this pandemic times, the online teaching methods are well managed. Semester examinations are taken on time and the difficulty level is moderate.

The placement percentage is good. The average package offered is 2lpa. After the 4th semester students are eligible to apply for the placement which is also another level procedure. Top recruiting companies visiting are TCS Infosys Wipro and etc

Per year fees for Bsc CA is 52000 excluding examination fees. Payment of fees is all done via online mode so there's no need to go here and there. Also all the details regarding any information and notices are updated on the college website.

3 day Xavier utsav is organised by St Xavier's college. It is an exciting fest hosting variety of events . Due to the pendamic still not experienced the fest but can say on the basis of contents available of previous years.

Placement Experience:

Semester 4h students are eligible for campus placement. TCS , WIPRO ACCENTURE and too many companies are visited college and minimum 60 to 70% percent student get placed. 60 to 70% percent student get placed. If i get the jod from campus placement and self then i perscue job with higher education, if i doesn't get the campus placement then i prepare for central and NIT college entrance test .

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the beginning of my 11th and 12th standard I'm very fond of Physics and mathematics that's why I choose to persue honours in physics and also there are more opportunities and jobs after bsc in physics compared to other streams. In bokaro steel city college the faculty: student ratio is not that great(1 per 250 students) as it is managed by state government. The qualification of teachers is above average (Almost every teacher has a P.hd) but the quality of teaching is not that great. Teachers often miss there classes and there way of teaching is very boring. On usual exams are taken in a interval of 6 to 8 months. But due to covid situation the exams got very much delayed l mean upto 10 to 12months. If you can complete the syllabus just by having few glances of the topics and follow the previous year question its quite easy to pass the examination by securing good marks. But most of the students always fail (almost 50% every semester).

Remarks:

In reality, this college has more negative remarks than positive. Some good part is that it has some great teachers. Their best course is B.Com for which it is famous. They organise some sports tournament that is appreciable. Overall good college to complete your degree and make Foundation.

My memorable journey of St. Xavier's, College, Ranchi.

For my course, selection was done on the merit basis. Any student who has completed his high school with 90+ marks in English was eligible for this course. The application form, fees, and dates, everything is appropriately available on the college's website. Yes, if you belong to ST/SC you are given reservation and relaxation in the cutoff. Exans are held regularly in a proper manner. The difficulty level of the exams conducted are moderate to high.
