Remarks

The admission process was based on the 12th board result so I got selected through by my marks. The total 2 merit lists came out and I got my enrol number in my 2nd list because the cutoff of the merit list was so high but fortunately I got selection because I was aggregated on college expectations. The selection of my admission to SXC was tough. And I'm blessed so that my admission took at SXC.

Because I made my mind so clear and I was interested in coding. Faculty of Information technology department is far good and their management system is nice they guide us in a far easier way. The student ratio is 100 : 50-50 The teaching methods on this pandemic is now online but the teachers put their efforts in a way for good. In terms of exams, the IT department is smart and they conduct in the priority of students best possible way so all the students can may appear their exams properly.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 55489 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the IT department is kind of high and the overall cost taken for this course is 1.5L for 3 years of a degree from SXC. About scholarship on SXC took by Government and college doesn't have their scholarship process, financial assistance is on the total amount of fees for a year can divide in 50% so the students can pay and for the job is, YES college have on-campus placement offers as per the courses and priorities.

Campus Life

About fest on SXC is Far Good and enjoyable and this all programs were given by the college and doesn't take any extra charges from students. And the fest is named as 'Xavier Utsav' and this probably held on a month of February. Yes SXC has a Library and also have Department personal library so the students belonging there get benefits and easier way. The curricular activities are also far good. The social group and clubs are known as in SXC are Rotaract club, NSS, NCC etc are run by the students.

Placement of my college is average. Campus placement is offered. From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement. WIPRO along with some few other private labelled company visited and no of offers made. Highest package is 6.3 lakhs and average package is around 3 to 4 lakhs per company. Around 50% of students got placed in campus placement offers. I want to do research in Environmental toxicology after getting the degree.

St. Columbas college Is the best in my city

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am chosen this course because mathematics is my strongest subject from all of the others that's why I can choose mathematics. Faculty member of our college is very supportive but some of the teachers are very rude behaviour. Our college teachers are very disciplined about teaching and any project work. My class have 250 students. Every semester our college takes mid sem exam then a viva exam, assignment on every paper, group discussion, surprise test. The exam pattern was based on their classes. The exam pattern is moderate most times.

My memorable journey of St. Xavier's, College, Ranchi.

For my course, selection was done on the merit basis. Any student who has completed his high school with 90+ marks in English was eligible for this course. The application form, fees, and dates, everything is appropriately available on the college's website. Yes, if you belong to ST/SC you are given reservation and relaxation in the cutoff. Exans are held regularly in a proper manner. The difficulty level of the exams conducted are moderate to high.
