Remarks

Well, taking admission in St. Xavier's College Ranchi is not often easy. We have to pass tough entrance exam . Cutoff marks in entrance exam is also quite high. Only after clearing our entrance exam we can take admission. But now during the covid scenario admission is done on the basis of your board exam scores. The admission process is quite easy and simple just need to submit basic documents.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen bcom in banking and insurance as according to my future plan. Also, all the professor's are quite supportive here. All the faculty members are well educated. Also in St. Xavier's College Ranchi, all our team exams are conducted on time to time basis.

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 51200 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies such as Accenture, Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, Vedanta, Cognizant etc are hiring bcom, bsc bA graduates for a different posts. Apart from that many private banks such as YES bank, HDFC banks etc are hiring graduates. Min marks qualification is that we must have atleast 60.marks in our board exam.

Placement Experience

From the end of semester 4 and beginning of semester 5 we are eligible for the campus placement, N no of companies come for the placement drive, Companies like Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Vedanta etc apart from the private companies many private banks also come hiring students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Although, the fee structure of our course is quite high. But as it is a vocational course that's fine. We can also find many internships as well as placement opportunities in this college. Many good companies are coming for hiring students.

Campus Life

One of the most famous Xavier's Utsav Fest is conducted in the month of February. Regarding the availability of books in the college library, So yes all the different types of books are being available in the college library. There are many social groups such as NSS, ROTARACT CLUB present in the college

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

Our goal is to be courteous and appropriate and these guidelines are flexible.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Concentrix, reliance jio, Yamaha motor Pvt Ltd, v Poddar, and associates, etc visited my college for placement the offers made of about in starting 20000 to 30000 salary will be given. The highest package is of 100000 and average package is of 50000 they offers. 80 percent of students getting placements. My plan is to get job in one of these companies after getting the degree.

Remarks:

This college is near to my home and have good reputation in commerce. Its a renowned college for commerce. The fees is also very less here. The maximum fees here is 2000 yearly. There is no need for entrance exam here if you want to join UG or PG. But you have to give entrance for vocational courses. For entrance you should have just scored 60-70% in your previous board exam. This is the most driving factor to take admission here.

My memorable journey of St. Xavier's, College, Ranchi.

For my course, selection was done on the merit basis. Any student who has completed his high school with 90+ marks in English was eligible for this course. The application form, fees, and dates, everything is appropriately available on the college's website. Yes, if you belong to ST/SC you are given reservation and relaxation in the cutoff. Exans are held regularly in a proper manner. The difficulty level of the exams conducted are moderate to high.
