Remarks

Everything was online.we need to apply online on the college website and then we had given exams (written) for the same then results were published and then there is around 3 list that was published.The cutoff was around 50 marks out of 100.The exam is pretty easy except the English section which was quiet though though. There are benefits in cutoff for minorities Even they get hostel ooportunity and fee consection.Even they get higher scholarship that that of OBC.

Course Curriculum Overview

Just i would say that I had a craze for computer science so i just choose it Student to faculty ratio lies between 1:20. Teachers are highly qualified having multiple degrees in CS. Termly exam are held according to the deadling and they are very punctual regarding this.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 51800 per year

Placement Experience

Firstly it is very good for placements as i just got placed in one of the best company. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, SAP labs, cognizant, capgemini, accenture visits our campus. Highest package that is offered is 3.82 by deloitte. Percentage of students placed varies form 40-50%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structures is different for different castes i.e OBC/general-51800 For BC 2-40000 Abd for st sc it's 30000. Ekalyan provides us the scholarship we need to apply for that online and gives the hard copy in the college. Campus placements are also good.

Campus Life

There are multiple groups present in the college for social welfare namely NSS and Rotaract. There is also a sports club and every year sports are organized among the students to enhance their skills other than that of studing.

Like everyone knows in which carriculum they are interested ,similarly i know i have a keen interest in my subject i.e. physics . We can't see physics as a theoretical and mathematical aspect but in our daily Life we use to experienc it . Like if something is fell down there is a reason behind that is gravity .we use to experience physics in our daily life . Some teacher use to make us feel for that subject but someone make us bore sometime. It happens rarely but sometime it happens. So i suggest them to change some activity Like teach with more energyso tha we can't get bored. Sometime we get very lengthy paper in the exams so everyone have to prepare before the examination with high speed.

A Transformative Journey : My College Experience

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards. The companies visited were Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good. I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.

My Low Budget College life in Master at St. Xavier's College Ranchi

I choose St. Xavier's College college over any other college because of it's name (brand) plus it does regular classes and completes it's syllabus on time compared to other colleges who doesn't provide regular classes and never completes their syllabus never on time is a different matter but the whole syllabus never gets covered and most of it is left out. I am comparing it to the Ranchi College, ranchi which is under Ranchi University name as it never does regular classes and never completes it syllabus, it has no proper faculties for each subject, don't do any other extra curriculum activities hardly ever does any practical classes plus there is no internship opportunities....Read More

The best collage in ranchi

I had applied for the Doctor Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Ranchi. And i got selected there also but i found st xavier's college ranchi is better then that college as this is autonomous applied new education policy of fourth year graduation. I didn't get rejection as i had filled only this two college in ranchi for bachelor's degree.
