Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum as per University guideline and interaction with student and teacher are very formal. We have practical in the curriculum so that we intract with animals whic is rare and merine animals.

Internships Opportunities

In my curriculum there are no any internship. Stipend for ST, SC and OBC.

Placement Experience

There are no any placement facility in my course at that time but I heared recently they offered campus selection my some recruiters.

College Events

We celeabrated many events like cultural show, independence day function and youth festivals. We actively partcipated in the cultural show where we have done a show named "Badalte parevesh ewam uski jhalki" it was great sucess and all members including faculty appreciated the show.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is very feasible or you can say low because college is govt. any one can afford fee. I know at my time our annual fee is 120 per year. And exam fee is 35.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed any loan facility and there are no any such facility they offered.

Alumni/Alumna

There are no any such formal alumni in that college. But the college should initiate for that. This is the best way to get together for freinds of old memories.

Actually biotechnology is an interdisciplinary program where we have to learn mostly the practical skills but there is no such equipment for doing a decent type of research work as they are not in a working condition. So first it has to be corrected and new equipment should have to buy for a making a good laboratory.

A Transformative Journey : My College Experience

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards. The companies visited were Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good. I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.

BITM is known for great placements. Campus placement is good . Average package is 15 lpa. CS -19 lpa Mnc- 15 lpa Ece- 15lpa Mech- 10lpa BITM offer better placement than most of NITs. Many students crack off campus placement. CS highest- 1.86cr MNC highest- 89lpa.

Because I made my mind so clear and I was interested in coding. Faculty of Information technology department is far good and their management system is nice they guide us in a far easier way. The student ratio is 100 : 50-50 The teaching methods on this pandemic is now online but the teachers put their efforts in a way for good. In terms of exams, the IT department is smart and they conduct in the priority of students best possible way so all the students can may appear their exams properly.

St. Columbas college Is the best in my city

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am chosen this course because mathematics is my strongest subject from all of the others that's why I can choose mathematics. Faculty member of our college is very supportive but some of the teachers are very rude behaviour. Our college teachers are very disciplined about teaching and any project work. My class have 250 students. Every semester our college takes mid sem exam then a viva exam, assignment on every paper, group discussion, surprise test. The exam pattern was based on their classes. The exam pattern is moderate most times.

Positive: Good staff, your work will be finished in a day or in two days. Negative: There are group of aggressive students active in campus but don't worry they don't problem for you until you mesh with them. Also there in lack of proper classes and study in regular order.
