Remarks

Eligibility for this course 12th class, the Application form will be released on IGNOU website in the month July, application fees are 1000 rupees. Various reservation benefits are provided by IGNOU like sc, St, obc, defence quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because technology always fascinated me. There are 10 faculties for 60 teachers. All the facilities Hove done med with the poor teaching method. There are 6 semesters in the whole BCA course.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Mostly, study centres do not arrange internships. However, if your study centre is in a hospital (like mine), they do have arrangements for an internship. There are many hospitals and institutes that provide internships for IGNOU students specifically.

Placement Experience

From semester 5th students are eligible for campus placement. Samsung, Facebook, Google, Apple companies are offered. And the package is more than 6 lakh. My plan is after getting is to work in a big company and to give my best in that company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure 36000 which is normal for general families or middle class family. Fees can be hiked by IGNOU (if required). IGNOU provide study material by post or by offline. There are fewer charges for study material. I haven't got any scholarship till now

Campus Life

No fest happens here . There is a big Library in my University with lots of books. The strength of class is also good. The sports facility is also available at my university. Students perform better and they make hard work. I don't have any idea about clubs or social groups.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also very good for a bachlor course my seniors have got package upto 4lpa and many are placed as junior developer in many MNCs . Some are building their own business . overall best college in Delhi Ncr for bca without maths students.

Placement Experience:

We have placement cell in our department and it is mostly active. Though, most of students go for higher studies after BCA but, If you want you can be placed in a good company if You have the skills . The college would help .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because i really like things about electronics, i feel attracted towards computer and stuff from childhood, then after opting computer science in 12th , i know what i want to do and chose this course. Talking about the faculty members, there is more than enough faculty members to handle the students, actually its more like a School where if one teacher is absent then some other teacher take the class. As far as the qualification of teachers is considered, i feel like they know how to teach there partiy subject, and that should be more than enough for students, teachers are nice and supportive towards students which i like the most about them. There are 2 semester in each year of course, in each semester there is one mid term exams and one end term exam, internal practical and external practical exams were akso held in each semester, and difficulty of exams is not so high, actually our teachers says that in IPU the more you write, the more you marks you get.

Remarks:

Can't say, first of all it's distance education and the lifestyle is such that it's ok to have what they have offered us in such a price range. Classes take place on weekends and hence you can hang out with friends outside the premises.

Ignou: Flexibility And Disappointment

I had also applied in DU for B.Sc. (Hons) Statistics but the cutoffs were very high and only a few top colleges offered that course. DU SOL also did not provide B.Sc. courses at that time, so I finally chose IGNOU. The admission process is fully online through the IGNOU website. You need to sign in, upload your Class 10 and 12 marksheets, Aadhaar or other supporting documents, fill personal details, and pay the course fee. For most courses you just need to pass Class 12, but for some courses there is a percentage requirement or specific subjects needed to study in class 12 like in my case maths.
