The admission process involves taking an aptitude test called SNAP, I took it two times. The application is available on the website of symbiosis easily and no reservation was availed for my seat. The test is easier than CAT.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum has 4 semesters. The curriculum is well up to date and it is the brand of SBM that makes it even greater. The faculty at SBM is mostly people from industry or with PHDs and they give a lot of different perspectives than the theory part.
Internships Opportunities
Aditya, Intel, Mahindra, Abbott are some of the big brands that visit campus for a summer placement. A stipend as high as 3 lakhs is expected from the comapnies. The summer internship is crucial at SBM as it gives you the necessary exposure.
Placement Experience
The palcement is good. Along with final placements, people get pre placement offers as well. Around minimum 25% pre-placement offers are given while you are summer interning. The highest CTC goes upto 28-29 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are a lot of scholarships avaialable on the website of the collegewhich includes merit based scholarship, sports scholarships, and international student scholarship. As high as 50% fee reduction can be expected. The fees is around 10 lakh per annum.
Campus Life
The campus of SIBM, Pune is great. It is a huge brand that attracts diversity which helps you in making connections with a lot of different people in the country. The extracurricular at SBM is great! You have options from functional cells to interest-based cells.
Interview Experience
This involves the classic group discussion and personal interview pattern. Coaching assist you in the preparation for these and the GD involves a topic that is trending. The PI involves basic hygiene questions and if you have work experience, they will ask about that.
