Remarks
In order to be eligible for the MBA program of SCHMRD, Pune students have to appear for the SNAP exam. You need to have decent scores in your 10th and 12th standards to get selected into this college. The application form is common for all symbiosis colleges with an application fee of Rs.2000. No reservation benefits were availed by me.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am currently pursuing MBA in operations from SCHMRD, Pune as it is one of the most amazing colleges for the same. The college offers decent placement packages and also ample opportunities to grow and learn. The faculties I feel are highly educated and also try to engage and motivate students by introducing new ways of learning. Exams are conducted after every trimester.
Internships Opportunities
Under internships, we had various companies like DE Shaw, Oyo, Byju's, Cognizant and EY visit the campus. They offered an internship opportunity with an average stipend of Rs. 60,000 per month. There are many companies that offer corporate project opportunities with projects offering learning expertise in various domains.
Placement Experience
For final placements, students before eligible after the 5th trimester. The highest package last year went as high as 35.5 lakh/annum and the median package was around Rs.20 lakh per annum. More than 95% of students got placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee in SCHRM, Pune is reasonable considering the opportunities offered. The fee increases by 30,000 to 40,000 rupees every year. I have got an internship in a top MNC with a stipend of Rs.60,000 per month. I did not avail any scholarship or financial assistance for this MBA program.
Campus Life
The annual fest in SCHMRD, Pune happens in February of each year. The college has an incredibly huge library with an abundance of books and journals. The classrooms are also well-equipped with facilities like air conditioners, whiteboards, comfortable furniture etc. I have been part of the operations club of the college.
Interview Experience
The group discussion was held online and the topic of our GD was "Multi-tasking". The interview went very smooth and all the panel members were very sweet and tried to make me feel comfortable. The questions revolved around what is happening in the world and some basic questions related to my professional life.
