Remarks
You are eligible for the MBA program of SIBM, Pune if you appear for the SNAP exam and get a good score in the same. The percentile goes as high as 98-99% for SIBM, Pune. There is a common application form for the symbiosis colleges with can be found on the college's website. The application fees are around Rs.2000 and increase if you increase the number of colleges you have applied to. No reservation benefits availed.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the MBA program of SIBM, Pune because Symbiosis is one of the best colleges for MBA, it offers extensive learning opportunities and also opportunities to grow. It has an amazing brand value. Faculties are highly educated and the teaching method is collaborative and fun. Exams are conducted after almost every 3 months with quizzes and assignment submissions on a day-to-day basis. The faculty to student ratio is 1:30.
Internships Opportunities
Similar to final placements, Both MNCs and startups visit the campus for internships. The average stipend offered is around Rs.50,000. We also have various companies offering the students opportunities to work with them for corporate projects and gain exposure.
Placement Experience
SIBM, Pune takes placement of its students very seriously. From the 2nd trimester, we had companies visiting us for internships. More than 95% of students have got internships. We had both MNCs as well as growing startups visiting our campus. The highest package offered last year was around Rs. 36 lakh/annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost to study is Rs. 10 lakh/annum without including the hostel fees. No fee hike policy exists. I have still not received a job from the campus, but I have been selected for the internship program offered by a top MNC with a stipend of Rs.85000 per month.
Campus Life
The annual fest is conducted in the month of March which I have still not witnessed but I have heard amazing reviews about the same. We have popular artists performing during our events. No complaints regarding the availability of books as ample of them are available. The campus offers a cricket ground, badminton court and various other facilities.
Interview Experience
The topic for our group discussion was "Do electric vehicles have a future in India?". The interview questions were related to my past experience as a RPA developer and some general hygiene questions. The test consisted of 3 sections. The overall difficulty level is not very high but you need to have high speed of solving problems.
