College organizes events like seminars,competitions,lecture series,Science Days,Cultural and traditional days etc. College also have NCC and NSS programs,Sports facilities including Swimming tank,tennis ground,badminton hall,cricket and football ground,Kabbadi,Khokho,Boxing,Gym,basket ball,chess,table tennis court etc. Available and students are encouraged for all such kind of extra curricular activities.

College is situated in the heart of city. Students come from various back ground from different areas of country as well as from Pune City. Few international admissions are also done. So culturally campus becomes mixture of traditional,culturally diverse and modern philosophy. Gender wise ratio is 1:1 with both ladies and gents hostel in campus. All gender,ethnicity,race,religion,sexual orientation people are accepted without bios. There is very little space for dirty politics here. College is very good at its economic status providing all required facilities to students including sports,library,ground,class rooms,labs and computer facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Parricularly the modules which focused on animal science & botany, the curriculum was built to learn from basics to the advance level towards research area of biology which impressed me alot. The focus on animal biology, statistics, cell biology & genetics, ecology & wildlife conservation, Immunology & biotechnology leads a foundation to successfully enter the real-world and apply this knowledge for better cause of humans as well as animals. As the therotical teaching method can differ from on-hand experience on field there is a need to improve the course curriculum around this issue. The learning period was designed perfectly in-course of the prepaption time between each test and it wasn't difficult if we are well prepared.

From 6 sem th students are eligible for campus placement, there were many companies which gave the placement in this college like eg infosys, biochroma, thakur polytechnic etcthe higesh package was about 11 lpa and average was about 5 lpa , about 80 percent students got the placements but my plan after getting the degree was to do masters

In univeral college from sem 6 students become eligible for campus placements, Name of the companies offered in placement is TATA TCS, Infotech , and etc. Highest package from our college is 10 LPA and average is 3.2 lacs per annum. 20% percent of students successfully get placed in the companies from our placement team. After getting degree i will prefer to study more with MCA two years of course and side by side business & developing webs and applications as this is my passion and motive. i will prefer business Now i am interested in python programming language and JAVA after this React JS, Node JS and PL / SQL + MONGO DB for backend programming which has no user interactions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

I applied in this college because it is government college and is situated in the heart of the city where it was very easy to reach in addition there are many hostels nearby so the area is very reachable. My college is one of the best college in pune hence i applied in it and got admitted. I also applied in one other college but cutoff of that college was much higher.
