Remarks
Jee mains is the basis to get admission in HBTU. The application form is provided on the website and the admission process may take time and may also lead to some delay but overall the procedure is quite easy and you can apply for admission easily.
Course Curriculum Overview
From the very beginning, I was interested to study from the computer science branch and at my rank but I got IT, I think this is the best college you can get. The teachers are well qualified and teach in an easy way but you have to study on your own as they do not teach everything and you have to work hard on your own to get good marks and semester exams are taken around every five months.
Internships Opportunities
I have not applied for internship opportunities yet but there are many internship opportunities given to students like Airtel gives internships to CSE and IT students and you can get that if you have worked hard on your coding and development skills.
Placement Experience
The placement of hbtu is very good because of its alumni connection. Almost every student in computer science, information technology, chemical engineering, plastic engineering, and paint technology gets the job. On-campus highest package belongs to CSE branch which is 22 lakhs and the lowest in the case and IT branch is around 3.5 lakhs.l personally will apply for a job after completion of my course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee of hbtu is 1 lakh and 35 thousand rupees. Overall the fee is quite average and scholarship opportunities are also provided as eligible students can apply for up government scholarship and ews scholarship is also given to students under ews category and internship opportunities are provided by the college and placement is very good for cse and it branch students so spending money is worth it.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good. There are many clubs in college like poetry, robotics, singing, etc and sports facilities are not up to the mark but for cricket and football, there is proper opportunity. There is one central library and it has enough books but some more books can be added as no of students are increasing now and classroom maintenance is good.
Hostel Facilities
As the college is old so most of the hostels are also old and has problems but there are some new hostels which are very good and there is the single, double and triple seated room given to students. The meal quality is very good and the menu is given by mess in charge who is from the students itself but the main problem is that hostel for 2-year student and onwards is very far from the college (around 5 km) but first-year students can surely apply for hostel and can get it.
