I came here to pursue my dream of studying at IIT Madras with extremely talented and qualified professors. In addition, IIT Madras is ranked 50th, with an overall ranking of #2 by NIRF. I was admitted here with a 93 percent CAT score, previous academic performance, work experience, and a strong performance in the personal interview. I applied for this position online through my university's admission portal, paying an Rs.1600 application fee.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members were not only wonderful, but their industry partnerships set them apart from other Indian institutes, as they have received national and international awards for academic engagement. Classroom instruction, case discussions, a hands-on management internship in the industry, and project work were all part of the program. I received a well-rounded learning experience in terms of management theory and practice while in the program.
Placement Experience
The Career and Placement Center helped us by professionally educating us before integrating us into the industry as better professionals and individuals who make a significant contribution. During the placement semester, I had the opportunity to interact with graduating students, who were recently graduated seniors/batchmates who were extremely helpful to me throughout this difficult process. Almost everyone in my class was hired, with an average salary package of 14.40 lakhs. During our MBA placement drive, key recruiters included McKinsey, Accenture, Dell, Amazon, IBM, and HCL.
Fees and Financial Aid
My MBA degree at IIT Madras cost 1.8 lakhs for a two-year program that had to be paid in four installments every term, which was significantly less than comparable business schools in India. The pricing structure seemed reasonably priced and cost-effective to me.
Campus Life
On this vast campus, there was so much to see and do, including a bike ride, nightlife, beaches, the night of the wolf, and many other activities that I miss. In addition to world-class classrooms and laboratory facilities, we had access to a variety of infrastructure services such as sports fields, a theatre, a shopping mall, a hotel, a swimming pool, a post office, banks, a grocery store, and a gym.
