Remarks
DBS PG College is a semi-government college that comes under HNBGU central university. Here admission process is merit-based and for the last 3 years, the UG merit of PCM is always been 90+. Admission forms are submitted online for merit and then further admission process is at offline mode in college and online registration fees are 50Rs. Here is no hostel under college. Here is also a reservation quota as per the government for OBC, ST, SC, etc. This college provides a good atmosphere for study as it is a government college a normal middle-class student can study here and I would say it is affordable. Teachers motivate you for an internship, future goals. And here yearly fees 1300+ and examination fees per seem are around 850. And I think it is not much every middle-class family can afford it. Here is also a sports field and children participate at the state level in games like handball and basketball. Here is also NCC and NSS for interested students.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I am a 12 PCM student so I choose this course to study further. In a B.Sc. class, there were 60 students, and if I way there were a total of 180 seats in B.Sc. PCM. The teachers and students ratio was good I must say in every sem we have different teachers for different subjects. Teachers are highly qualified and I would say most of them are CSIR JRF qualified with Ph.D. and many of them are Italian. I would say term exams are all as per HNBGU central university guidance and I think it is moderate to pass any exam in this course.
Internships Opportunities
In B.Sc. I did not do any internship and I think it is one of the points which is not in this college. It is one of its losses and I wish in the future they will provide a better opportunity regarding this hope so.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no job at the college level and also no scholarship at the college level. The scholarship is only for students of State board is inspire scholarship ( no gov job in his/her family) And a national scholarship for all students their parents should also not in gov job. The course is affordable as I say it is a semi-government college under HNBGu, yearly fees 1300+ and examination fee per sem 850rs.
Campus Life
Life is okay at the campus, sports games are present on campus as handball and basketball, etc. Books are mostly available in the library and they are issued as per college guidelines. The classroom was good and the most important studying atmosphere was a great many alumni of this college are in a good position right now.
