Remarks

Great admission process on Gather platform. All details are online. Eligibility - 4 years of undergrad studies. Reservation was there. No suggestions for improvement in the admission process. It was the best process I attended.

Course Curriculum Overview

Wanted to do an MBA for the longest of time. Good faculty to student ratio almost 1:10. Teachers are very qualified with publications in leading journals and have had education in great foreign institutions.

Class Size: 113Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships happen in the first year in the second semester. The duration is of 2 months. Everyone in the batch is able to bag a good internship and most people convert these internships to a full-time offer.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements in the final year. There are 100% placements and they are competitive with the placements offered at the top b schools across India. I plan to work at an FMCG company in an SCM role post my graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is relatively lower compared to other MBA schools. There are avenues for scholarships for people who perform exceptionally well. Jobs and internships are great with huge MNCs coming to campus for recruitment.

Campus Life

Annual fest Avenues is held attended by people all over the country. It happens in the month of November. There is a library at the SOM building apart from the main library at IIT Bombay. A number of sports centers with gymnasiums are available throughout the sprawl of the campus.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are great. We are given double occupancy in the first year which is shifted to a single one in our second year. The mess is managed by students and it is ensured that healthy and timely meals are given to students.

Interview Experience

4.5

No GD or WAT. There was an interview. The panelists included the professors, industry experts, alumni. The people were nice and warm and wanted to genuinely know about the candidates. It was one of my best interview experiences. I prepared for the interview by brushing through my undergrad subjects, current affairs, business news, and knowledge related to my job.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

Good post graduate program with strong cirriculum

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!

Review for SJMSOM, IIT BOMBAY

I appeared for CAT in 2020, post which I received interview calls from MDI, IIM's, VGSOM, SJMSOM, DMS etc. The admission criteria of the open category for SJMSOM, IIT BOMBAY was more than 60% in 10th and 12th which had a weightage of 5%. There was 5% weightage to the graduation scores and 10% to gender diversity too. Post filling the form I got an interview call and was also allotted a buddy to help clear any doubts regarding the interview process. The interview was held on a platform & each candidate was allowed to log in and interact with the platform a day prior to the interview. On the day of the interview, there were two main procedures document verification and the actual PI. We were assigned to a buddy in batches of 20 who would personally take us to our respective procedure.
