Remarks

The application process was three-tiered and began in January. I first applied by completing an application form and attaching all required documents, as well as my CAT score. The second phase was a shortlisting round based on CAT score and merit, and the final round was a PI based on the composite score as determined by the shortlisting criterion. I chose this college since it is an IIT Bombay management college that is well-regarded among top business schools.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The teachers here are highly qualified and provide a comprehensive education to each student. They provide immediate answers to students' questions using readily available materials. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:10. Semester exams are likewise manageable; all you have to do is study because lecturers go to great lengths to make the tests as straightforward as possible.

Internships Opportunities

4

In 2020-2021, SJMSoM had a very successful summer placements season. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic's restrictions, the entire placements procedure was completed entirely online. Internships in the Consumer Goods/Durables sector were the most popular among the MBA class of 2022 at SJMSoM, around 40. percent of the class choosing this area. Healthcare, E-Commerce, and Other (24-25 percent) and Consulting & IT (22-23 percent) were the next most sought-after industries. About 20 percent of Internships are in the BFSI industry. A total of about 110 students participated in the summer placements process.

Placement Experience

4.5

With each passing year, the college's placement cell works extremely hard and sets new standards for campus placements. With a total of 108 students being placed in various firms in 2021, the highest CTC was 32.80 lacs. Furthermore, the average package was around 22 to 23 lakhs. This year, 16 additional recruiters were added, including Infosys, consultancy JCB, Mars, Paytm, and others. Some seniors were hired for investment banking and management consultancy positions.

Fees and Financial Aid

The amount was roughly 16 to 18 lakhs and the ROI is good. According to what I've heard, just a few scholarships are awarded based on a student's achievement on semester examinations. Various endowment funds and centrally available scholarships benefited 15 to 20% of my classmates. I was able to obtain assistance by applying for a loan which helped me to pay the amounts.

Campus Life

4

The site's natural beauty, among other things, contributes to the college's beauty. Though things have been online due to covid, still Every month, activities are held here to help pupils improve their knowledge and also to help students to discuss things in depth. Many clubs and committees related to finance, marketing, culture, consulting helps students a lot for their betterment.

Interview Experience

4

I would urge new applicants to prepare thoroughly for the interview round, as dealing with the questions thrown at them can be difficult. My personal interview experience was pleasant. Prepare on hygiene questions and also on work experience. One should also be aware of the current happenings in the world and you're taking on that.

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
