Admission is based on Keam entrance rank. The college is famous for its academic excellence. 2021 cut off for BTech in Computer Science is 20,300. Top 3 students are provided free tuition fees. Different scholarships are also provided for eligible students and economically weaker students. Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology is famous for its infrastructure and best faculties. Especially college is quite top in BTech in Computer Science. Faculties are well educated with more than 6-10 years of experience. Exams are conducted frequently to evaluate students' excellence. Question papers have their own standard with medium difficulty.

Many online, as well as offline internship programs, are conducted and students successfully complete those internships with certificates. Some are along with stipend. In the case of offline, food and stay is provided by the companies.

Every class is a digital class with a system and a projector. The classes have a proper lighting system and ventilation. The college always supports students with extracurricular skills. Tech fests and Sports give opportunities for the students to show their talent.
