Remarks

The admissions procedure went smoothly. On the college's website, you may find the application form. I took the SNAP test three times, each time on a different date. The application cost for each college was roughly Rs.1000. I did not take advantage of any reservation advantages.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The full MBA course structure is covered in four semesters. The most up-to-date technologies and approaches in business simulation pedagogy were frequently employed. Some of the world's most illustrious figures were invited to participate as guest speakers to inspire students in the subject of management. Personally, I appreciated professor-led sessions because they allowed us to view our teachers' potential knowledge in practically every topic. I chose SIBM's MBA programme because of the school's brand recognition and because I'd heard great things about the staff and instructional methodology. The professors here are quite well-educated. Everything is taught by comparing it to real-life situations. I was able to get a great deal of knowledge. Every quarter, we had exams, and in between, we had multiple quizzes and other activities to keep us learning.

Internships Opportunities

4

The 2020 Summer internship placements attracted more than 70 companies. A total of 197 offers were made to the 180 students in the class. The highest stipend was found to be Rs.3,00,000. For a while, I worked as an intern at Intel. Recruiters from Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Ltd., Intel, Mahindra, United Phosphorus Ltd., AkzoNobel, and Exide Industries Ltd. visited the campus.

Placement Experience

4

In 2020, SIBM saw some of its best placements, as it does every year. The students received 191 offers, including 63 pre-placement offers. The sectors that participated in the placements were FMCG/FMCD, Conglomerates, BFSI, Technology, and Consulting. Rs.28 LPA was the highest CTC. Abbott India Limited, Asian Paints Limited, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., Dell, EMC, and GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd. were among the companies that took part.

Fees and Financial Aid

On the college's website, there are numerous scholarships available, including merit-based PG scholarships, international student scholarships, and outstanding sportsperson awards. In the eligibility criteria section, some of the conditions have been updated. Check them out before submitting an application for the scholarship. If you are selected for the scholarship, you will receive a 50% fee reduction. The fee was around 10 lakhs per annum. I have seen that the fee usually increases by around 30,000 every year although this is not fixed.

Campus Life

5

Transcend, one of the country's largest B-school events, is one of my favourite SIBM events. It included enriched real-time learnings as well as a fiery fiesta with attendees from across the country. In addition, I was a member of the Co-Curricular Team. The entire campus is outfitted with state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, large and roomy classrooms, and a massive library with a vast collection of books, periodicals, and publications.

Interview Experience

5

The GD subjects were fairly broad, covering whatever was going on in the world. It is best to read the news because it will assist anyone going through the GD process. Aside from the GD and SNAP exam results, a personal interview was required. I participated in a coaching programme that assisted me in preparing for all of these rounds.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
