Remarks
For admission to VSSUT, you need to clear the GATE exam with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST) students. The candidate must have B. Tech Degree or equivalent degree with a minimum mark of 60%. You can download the admission form from the official website of the college that charges around Rs 500. and Rs 200 for SC/ST students. But you have to submit the form via speed post with all your documents.
Course Curriculum Overview
VSSUT curriculum is designed to provide students with modern educational facilities while retaining the traditional values, and an industrial visit to mould young talents to stand and compete in the global arena. The curriculum follows the latest industrial developments and changes no concept is left out.
Internships Opportunities
You are guided for internship by the placement cell and the cell makes sure that you get the internship according to your interest. The placement cell is quite supportive and helpful. I was lucky enough to receive an internship in Indian oil with a stipend of Rs 38,000/- and I also received a pre-placement offer from them. This shows the education standards of the college.
Placement Experience
The college has a tremendous placement record every year the college reaches the 100% placement record. The placement cell of the college is very supportive and helpful. Companies like Indian Oil, HP, ONGC, Reliance Petroleum are the regular recruiters of the college. The highest package for our batch was 25 LPA and the lowest was 18 LPA. At this price point, the placement that you receive can be called true return on investment.
Fees and Financial Aid

Campus Life
The campus life of VSSUT is very exciting. Seniors of the college are very cooperative and they guide their juniors a lot. The fest and the sports activities of the colleges keep you busy throughout the year. The campus library is equipped with lots of books and foreign journals.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are on a sharing basis you have to share the rooms with 3 students. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. The warden of the hostel is supportive and friendly but at the same time strict. The food of the mess is quite okay as the menu is limited to some dishes only but the food is hygenic and healthy. The hostel is provided with all the basic facilities and you spend a comfortable time.
Faculty
The faculties of the college are of the highest standards that I did not expect. The faculties of the college are well aware of their subjects. The faculty makes sure that you are properly able to understand each and every concept clearly. The way they blend modern technology by keeping traditional values is awesome.
