IIT Bhubaneswar Review

IIT Bhubaneswar is the second generation IIT and is ranked at 10th place in IITs. The campus is surrounded by a lush green environment. The admission is done according to the GATE score and after passing the exam with qualifying marks you are called for a Written ability Test followed by a PI round. The cut off list is prepared by the institute according to their norms.

The faculty to the student ratio in the college is 1:10 due to which students get more chances to interact with the faculty. The curriculum of the college is according to the latest industrial norms it not only provides you theoretical knowledge but will also develop analyzing skills.

Students are eligible to opt for an internship program after completing the first year. The college placement cell helps you out for an internship. After completing your 5-7 weeks of internship program you have to submit the written assignment about your learning and experiences during the internship. You also receive a stipend for your internship that ranges from Rs 7000/- to Rs 95,000/-.

You cannot doubt IITs regarding the placement. The college achieves a 100% placement record without a doubt and few of the students receive pre-placement offers during their internships program. The college placement cell makes sure that whoever wants to opt for the job is placed according to their interest. Companies like Flipkart, Walmart, Indian Oil, NTPC, Maruti, Ford, HP, Dell, IBM visit the campus during the placement drive. The highest salary package that an individual can receive has no limit but for our batch, it was 55.9 LPA and the lowest was 37 LPA.

The campus life of the college is fun to stay. Fests like Alma Fest (Cultural Fest), Wisssinere (Tech Fest), E-Summit (entrepreneurship fest), Ashwadhmadha (Sports Fest) and Food Fest are the main attraction point for the students of the college. The sports facilities of the college are very great the college has a cricket ground, hockey ground, football ground, Basketball court, Volleyball court, and tennis court keeps student engage in physical activity.

The rooms of the hostels are single occupancy you do not have to worry about the cleanliness as the rooms are properly cleaned 4 times a week. The hostel is also equipped with a high-speed internet facility. The college mess food is fantastic as the food is quite healthy. The menu is full of different kinds of variety. The hostel is full of all the basics and at this price point, your stay in the hostel is worth it.

Most of the faculties of the colleges are PhD and they are masters of their subject. The teaching methods used by teachers are both traditional and modern that are very conventional and innovative. The teachers make sure that every concept is properly cleared for the students. You can easily interact with teachers to solve your queries.
