Remarks
The admission process was very comfortable. The application form is available on the college's website. I appeared for SNAP which was conducted on 3 different dates. The application fee was around Rs.1000 per college. I did not avail of any reservation benefits.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the MBA course of SIBM because of the brand reputation of SIBM and also because I had heard amazing reviews about the faculty and the teaching structure of SIBM. The faculties here are highly qualified. They teach everything by relating it to real-life scenarios. I got to learn a lot. Exams are conducted after every quarter and in between, we also had several quizzes etc. for continuous learning.
Internships Opportunities
Various internships were offered by companies like Ericsson, Deloitte, EY, etc. All of these offered a decent stipend of around Rs.50,000. We also had companies visiting our campus to offer us corporate projects. The project roles were amazing and the outcomes of these projects were clearly defined.
Placement Experience
From trimester 2, the students become eligible for campus internships. Around 30 companies visited the campus and we had around 100% placements. The highest package offered was around 30 lakh/annum domestically. I am working at Deloitte after getting this MBA degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee was around 10 lakhs per annum. I have seen that the fee usually increases by around 30,000 every year although this is not fixed. I got a job at Deloitte from the campus. No scholarship or financial assistance is taken.
Campus Life
The annual fest is conducted in March. There was ample availability of books and journals for us in the library. The classrooms are also properly made keeping in mind the requirements of the children. Various extracurricular activities are organized on the campus like organizing music and dance events. I was a part of the operations cell of SIBM.
Hostel Facilities
I was living in the hostel. The food was not very delicious, but it was bearable. It was available to us on time. The quality of food was also good. In order to register for a hostel, you need to fill a form that is available on the campus website.
Interview Experience
The topics of GD conducted were very general like whatever is happening in the world. It is best to read the news, that will help any individual go through the GD process. The other criteria except for GD and SNAP exam scores was a personal interview. I enrolled myself in a coaching institute which helped me prepare for all these rounds.
