The National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh was inaugurated on 18th August, 2010 as a member of a group of ten new NITs. These new NITs were established as centres of excellence in technical education to combat the growing need of technological professionals in India. Initialy the NIT AP started functioning in a hired building at Yupia, district Papumpare as its temprorary site. Its permanent site is under construction at Jote, Papumpare, surrounded by Lush green forest and mountains. The area is picturesque and surrounding makes it ideal for a nobel academic environment. NATIONAL IMPORTANCE, NEWLY CAMPUS, FACE SOME PROBLEM LIKE FOOD AS I AM VEG PERSON. YOU CAN JOIN, IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO CHANGE YOUR ENVIROMENT AS HILLS ARE AROUND THE COLLEGE.

BEACUASE MY PHD SUPERVISOR IS GOOD. STUDENT FACULTY RATIO IS MINIMUM. FACULTY IS ALWAYS READY TO HELP YOU. ALL THE FACULTY ARE PHD HOLDER. TWO EXAM WILL BE CONDUCTED LIKE MID TERM AND FINAL. IT IS NOT DIFFICULT TO CLEAR THE EXAM.

NIT Arunachal is associated with IIT Guwahati. you can easily connect with the IITG for attending any workshop, any seminar, any collaboration, any project, any research work, any internship and even for mentorship also.

Here placement for CSE students are good. for other branch, it can vary. for MTech and PhD it is very less opportunities. how ever some popular PSU are directly recruit the other branch students through interview without gate. Generally not possible in the private college.

FEE IS SIMILAR TO OTHER NIT'S. YOU can apply for many scolarship from govt. and other agency. campus placement is good. for CSE it is 100% and for others it varies from person to person. you can easily apply to many internship where NIT itself is a reputed name.

there are many social clubs and annual fest programs which are organized by students and some faculties are also involved. one annual test fest and annual culture fest, one Hindi competition, many seminars, many conferences, many worships, and many more things.

hostel is compulsory for everyone. When I was in the college , there was no PhD hostel for married men. I have taken the room outside in the Lekhi nirjuli area. Now they are providing the full accommodation for each students. you can opt it. it is good. but not good for veg person.

Yes there are some interview preparation classes is organized by students group. all the written test, GD and Interview preparation is done by students group. no faculty is involved here. All the responsibility will be taken by students only.
