I had always dreamed of being a part of this highly reputed university and as a student of MBA I have 4 semesters and 7 core courses, with 59 electives. The environment of the college is simple and study-oriented but at the same time has not become suffocative from stress
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculties are highly educated which helps in making the rigorous curriculum easy-going, each faculty is an expert in their own field and always make sure we understand the concept and are ready for tests. We are also encouraged to take part in extra curriculum activities like dance, music and art.
Placement Experience
For MBA in IIT Kanpur, we have one person one job policy which means that once someone gets placed, they cant sit for further placements. This is done to make sure that every student gets chance. There is also a Pre placement policy ( PPO) where students can get jobs through summer internships. Some of the past recruiters are Deloitte, HDFC Bank, TresVista, Infosys and more.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for MBA courses is fair and not very high. There are different types of scholarships such as Merit cum means, Sports, Inspire, External and more. Merit cum means scholarship offered on the merits that is scored by the students. This scholarship waives all tuition fees along with a pocket money of RS. 10,000.This scholarship is also for those candidates who are SC/ST or candidates whose annual parental income is less than 4.5 lakhs.In Sports Scholarship, upto 20 scholarships are offered every year with an amount of INR 1000 for 9 months.
Campus Life
Campus life is always buzzing with students and activities, we also have sports facilities, health facilities, and events that happen all year. Apart from this we also have a gym and recreational sector, The clubs and communities are flexible and cater to all hobbies.
