Remarks

Nitw is among the top nits, the faculty members are excellent.It provides a get good exposure since all other non tech and tech (BTech Mtech ) branches students live together (hostel) and actively participate in all type of events.But if you are looking forward for higher studies (qualifying CSIR UGC NET GATE ICMR ) then you have to extract your time of own being a tech institute you are directly or indirectly endulge in lots of activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was alloted msc analytical. And this specialisation is taught by excellent faculties. Student ratio 20:20~1:1.All modes of teaching methods are available here.Exams are on timely basis. Passing the exam is moderate, i.e on average if your good student 7.0cgpa is easily achievable.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship depends on individual mostly student like to prefer to go there native place.If you are interested then you talk your professor at your own level but as for my knowledge there is no stipend.

Placement Experience

Final year student are eligible for placement. The average placement depend on the situations as pandemic has uprooted these companies so it may quite possible that these companies may not appear in upcoming placement season.Mostly coaching companies for our degree program.The companies have there own criteriaThe minimum placement starts from 4- 8lpa The companies areResonance, FitzeeNarayanaAakashTimes Cv raman school etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Semester wise feeDuring my time it was approx 60+25+30+25 including hostel mess and tution fee. (*Fee structure depends on institute, download the fee structure or consult to faculties)No financial assistance for MSc students provided if you have your own national or state inspire fellowship.

There are many tech festLike technozian spring. one fest in one semester. institute have quite decent library with good number of books.There are various international National conference along with seminarsYou are allowed to play any type of sportsAlso there are various clubs like photography music singing dramatic dancing where you can enhance your skill

Building Skills Beyond the Classroom

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Remembering College Valuble Insights Feels so memorable being a final year student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals,meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Only 4-1 students are eligible for campus placements Name of companies are infosys, concentrix, foundever, teleperfomance, Sutherland,uts etc in that only few members got opportunity to join in that companies. Highest package is 3-4lakhs All the companies which were came to our clg placements are based on call center types only infosys is IT side remaining all companies came us to take for the roles bpo industry voice based roles and non voice based roles My plans after completing the degree to search for the job

Campus placements start from final year. A few core companies and bulk hiring companies visit with average packages , overall placement percentage is average . So I plan to build more skills and purse better opportunities after graduation

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Students become eligible from semester 6 to get placed I guess I'm not sure . Hp, Hul, Deloitte etc are the companies that come in. Highest package is around 58 lakhs after doing mba and the average package is around 10.5 to 11 lakhs. 95% of the students get placed. My plan after getting the degree is work for a couple of years maybe.

Nice college but lot of improvements are required

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

Expectations and the experience!

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course as I dreamt of becoming a doctor since I was a child. In our college, the faculty is good and are qualified enough. They teach the basic things and make us learn things in a clear way. There will be two internal exams, one prefinal exam in every year. Those with an average of 50% in internal exams are allowed to write the final exams. There is quite a difficulty in passing the final exam as there is a vast syllabus.
