Remarks

Krishna University was never my first choice to do my LLB but with the time spent at KU, I am quite satisfied with all that I have got from this university. It has made a good place among the Education system of Andhra Pradesh since its start in 2008 and also holds UGC approval. The university has a large diversity in course availability while admission to the LLB program was based upon the entrance exam score of candidates.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

For my LLB program the college has some highly experienced professionals from Law and that was the reason I got to learn so many things about the syllabus as well as those which can only be availed by experiences. The university has courses of Engineering and Management also and the quality of education is equally good for those departments also. A large number of colleges also work under the affiliation of Krishna University.

Internships Opportunities

4

No, I haven't participated in Internship round of our university because tech firms are there to recruit students and not much interest is shown in students of the law domain. Moreover,I was not that Interested in applying for the Internship round of KU.

Placement Experience

4

Good recruiters visit our university on an annual basis and students also get placed but most of the LLB programme students go for Higher Education in the field of Law and I was one of those students. Companies like Tata consultancy, HCL, Wipro, Mahindra are famous names that are associated with KU for Placements. The college has a separate cell for event's related to Placements and it works pretty well to do good arrangements of Written tests, Pre-placement conclaves & PI/GD.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee at KU was very low because we only had to pay INR 37,200 for our 3-year LLB degree with this university. That really motivated me to do well because the pressure of Expenses was very much cut-off due to the affordable fee structure at KU.The university also gives Meritorious student's performance based scholarships

Campus Life

4.5

The university is at par with the leading names of state, when It comes to campus life but still things can be improved more. KU organises almost all kinds of events that are required for overall development of students.Students also get benefits of having a digital library where they can access a vast amount of content. The university also has Cells for Women Empowerment,Internal Quality Assurance, Anti-ragging and SC/ST cell for help of students in their respective fields.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Just like the Fee structure, the hostel charges at Krishna University are also reasonable as the annual room charge is just INR 5,000 while students would have to pay Electricity and Mess charges on a monthly basis. Those living in the hostel also have to follow all the rules made by the administration. The quality of all available facilities at KU is pretty good and the allotment of hostel accommodation is strictly based upon the availability.

Admission

Admission to the university was based on the CET organised by KU and it was named "KRUCET". The selection of applicants was based upon their Scores in this entrance exam and to be eligible for the LLB programme aspirants must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in their 10+2 standard. Totally 85% of seats in our university were reserved for State Quota.

The curriculum played a big role in my decision to choose this course. What attracted me most was: The balance between core subjects and electives, which allowed flexibility. Inclusion of emerging technologies like Data Science, AI, and Cloud Computing in later semesters. Availability of practical labs and mini-projects that complement theoretical learning.
