Remarks

IBS provided me the exact exposure I needed after my 12th standard. The admission process required 50% marks in 12th with English medium. I scored 90% in my 12th, thus got an easy admission. The courses in economics includes public finance, trade and financial economics too at IBS.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum provided by IBS is great. Along with Macro and Micro Economics, various other domains in the economics field were also covered. Faculty of the school is very good. All the professors are experts in their field. No doubt of the student is sent home without clearance. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate. If you study well, you could easily crack them.

Internships Opportunities

I have not opted for any internship yet but I am planning to apply for one in the Summer Internship Program next year. Under my stream, various roles are offered for internships such as - Research Economist, financial economist.

Placement Experience

Students studying in the 4th semester are eligible to sit for the placements. Seeing the previous record and this year's, the placements are excellent at IBS. This year the highest package offered was around Rs.1600000. I plan to get a job as an Economist after completing my graduation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for BA in Economics is around Rs.320000. I didn't went any scholarship nor financial assistance during the time of the admission. Although, I am currently searching for a on campus job for some side income.

Campus Life

I have completed 1 year at IBS and campus life is great here. All the building and classrooms are equipped with latest technology and infrastructure. Trishna - A 3 day mega event is organized by IBS students. Various cultural, entertainment and recreational activities are organized in this event.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are big and spacious. Coolers are present in each room to beat the heat during summer season. Meals are entirely vegetarian and the food quality is good. You can register for the hostel during your admission procedure itself.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

PRIP - A green safe research-focus pharmacy institute in Hyderabad

Likes

Green campus, its safe for all. PRIP is well connected and has a good learning culture. Professors encourage to pursue higher educationa and dream big.
Cafetaria, librabry and cleanliness is there at PRIP
They invest in technology and AI, it has a VR simulation lab and innovation center which has the latest pharma machines

Dislikes

Sometimes we feel it can get more bright
teachers are friendly, but i think they should focus on English as a language inside campus. It will prepare us for industry
digital labs should be used more and should be used for personal non-pharmacy learning on linkedin for networking and exposure. we have skill development but it can be more applied.

Placement Experience:

college placements are good. we have tie-ups in many good companies like HEtero, Aurbindo Pharma, AIG, Northpharm, Intrachem, Analys Labs, Medplus.... They also give workshops and training session. PRIP Placement cell is very dedicated in getting all of us placed. Packages is also decent and industry average

Good college for getting a degree

Likes

Things I liked is our is around 40+ years old so the academic structure is well established but old fashioned
As it is Bachelor of engineering our college degree is good for higher studies like masters
Faculty are some what better compared to other colleges

Dislikes

No proper scope of physical education and sports
Attendance is considered very strictly and
Facilities in campus like proper sports equipment is not available for all games

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem to 8th sem campus placement gonna takes place there are many MNCs and startups visited for hiring like accenture etc and has highest package around 20 lakhs and avg package around 5lahks placement percentage is very good we can also do masters after degree

Life of an graduating person

Likes

Teaching was very good as compared to other colleges and faculty members have 8+ years and upto 20+years teaching experience and totally digital teaching method through smart board with PDFs and PPT's and the infrastructure was very good.
College is totally 7 blocks with a spacious ground and greenery around the college sand there is also campus hostel and bus facility available and learning facilities also very good with well furnished labs .
The curriculum is also better for professional and personal development and the placements services are very supportive for career advancement

Dislikes

The things I disliked are the timings of gates closing in morning session and there is no chance of going outside in the lunch hour .
Sometimes faculty doesn't explain some topics they will skip the topics to sit simply in the classroom with teaching
The security guards are very strict and they directly take id cards of students if they misbehave anything .

Placement Experience:

3-2 semester students will become eligible for campus placements and the companies visited are tech Mahindra, cognizant ,cap gemini, zentek, tcs, etc some of the top most companies also visited our college for placements and so many students have been placed in the companies with a good package there is almost 78% of students are getting placements in this college

All the required equipments such as HPLC, UV spectophotometer are available in the lab. They encourage us to do experiments.
The faculty and staff members are so supportive for the students.
They encourage in different categories such as sports, cultural activities and overall

Dislikes

The main disadvantage is there is very little government transport facility.

Placement Experience:

The students from 6th year of pharmd are eligible for the placements. They are companies which provide jobs for our seniors also. Companies like Pfizer, medplus, pulsus etc hired the students of our college.

Likes

The infrastructure is very good and the garden maintenance was nice , multiple buildings are there for different course classes and campus is well secured by security guards every where and good behaviour of administration dept and library available
Teaching staff will be there with good subject knowledge and good personality and behave well and they never tied of studying us
I love this village like vibes around college it gives peace pleasure and am always happy to join here

Dislikes

Sometimes they ask to pay fee just after few weeks from academic yr started
They give always importance to prestige of college
Sometimes feel stressed in exams time and they didn't inform the required important information in time

Pharmd is a good course but mostly in india it is still under development so after the completion of course the opportunities for job or placement are less but if u work hard no anything can stop to meet the goal This course provides doctorate

Faculty will clear all your doubts whenever you want.
Organising social events and taking us to trips.
Faculty encouraging students to participate in various technical and social events.

Dislikes

The equipment in laboratory was not proper.
The faculty were not well trained and experienced.
Not taking us to industrial visits and sessions.

Placement Experience:

The training criteria for placements for students starts from third year.The top companies like IBM, Amazon, Microsoft, Accenture has visited our campus.The highest package offered was 20 lpa and average package offered is 3-4 lpa.50 percentage of the students will get placed in third year if not they'll get placed in 4 year.My plan after graduation is being a software engineer in a high profile company.

I chose this course because of my interest in computers and mainly AI, so I chose this course. The faculty-student ratio is better but it can be improved. The qualification of the faculty here is PhD forest of the faculty and B.com for some assistant professors

I choose b pharmacy has been well scope and wel opportunity and get high knowledge about medicine,and the faculty was excellent good teaching skills and we'll explain every topic, girl is more than the boys 30:8 qualification of faculty was Ph.D. faculty was teaching and the good explaining exam was easy to pass to attained every class daily easily to pass the subject

I didn't apply to any other colleged since I was focused on OBS Hyderabad. The addmission process is straightforward. You can apply through CAT, NMAT and IBSAT with IBSAT offering a scholarship of two lakhs to the eligible students. IBS at its best

My admission process started after i had filled up the college form. The forms are available online as well as offline. The cost of the application fee was INR 2000, after which i was called for an interview on a given date. During this time i paid another INR 20,000 and the admission was based on merit of my class 12 performance with the minimum requirement being 60% with no admission test required for my BBA program. During the interview, I was asked about why I wanted to take BBA and study here.
