Remarks

It's one of most reputable institution and oldest NITs as I know earlier. There is no bad aspect of college and most attractive part is Faculty are very decent and friendly. Good infrastructure of college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Industrial Metallurgy because Institution have good lab facilities and faculties are highly experienced and experts. Many faculty have work experienced as Scientists from abroad and also did there Doctorate from world's top ranked institutions.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 280000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Some companies visited college for internships programs for a year and many students get selected, I didn't get selected in last round although I wanted to work in the college for my project. Some companies like ABB, CUMMINS, AMNS visited for internships.

Placement Experience

Placement is low for M.Tech students and there is less percentage of students get placed but if you studied there you will get many opportunities if you search like higher education and you can learn many skills which make you able to get opportunities outside the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We received stipend of 12400 per month in M.Tech course.Institute offers some scholarships category wise like free tuition fee for SC/ST candidate and UG student get many assistance who have low income certificates.

Campus Life

Life at campus is awesome. There are many clubs which help to grow students in every aspects.There is active students Council group also who work as bridge between students and professors. Infrastructure is very good of NITW and well known for this.

There is no interview as students get directly selected after counseling like for M.Tech i registered for ccmt counseling and got a seat in this Institute as preferred.

Overhyped college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good but price 120000 is not valuable for the way they teach , improvement needed in faculty member and change in faculy who hve no knowledge can be a benifit, the teaching is too fast and not inderstandable

Good college with decent placements,but overhyped.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Circuulum is not so good but need to be imporoved a lot. The circulum doesn't prepare for real world job market,need to do a lot more. Ciruculum should be improved. EHave slip tests,mid exams,sens exams.

I think from 5 semister students are eligible for the campus placement . placements are quite good this year my super senior got a package of 43 lpa out side the college and average package is also good.amazon paypal and more like 50 percent of students are getting into a average package of 6 lpa .iam very interested in college placements i need to crack it

Admission process was done through jossa councelling.
