Remarks

close proximity to ahmedabad whixh is where I live. College hours helped me also run my startup while studying and GTU affiliation means as a prospective masters student I would be under the umbrella of a larger recognized educational organisation in the state and by extension the country.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is in line with GTU so it jas its pros and cons. Yes its a rich syllabus but it needs to be updated. Faculty is very helpful and on toes to push students to do better in any way they may need help or support.

Internships Opportunities

I was an intern at SoftVan technologies as a data science intern at a stipend of 5000 per month.

Placement Experience

LJ is not a top tier college and thus in this department falls back in terms of gaining good strong placements or intenrships to help them get better prospects in the industry.

College Events

Lj had participated in a ton of events and also was host to several festivals. Be it culturally in the form of garba or flag hoisting etc. Or even in tech fests and hackathons held every year. Academic competition is encourage from a persepctive of innovation and thus provide students a lot of recognition and exposure as well.

Campus Life

as a cs student I had good labs and sport facilities were well mantained and events were also well coordinated by the student body with good and constructive help from the college admin. There is no wifi on the campus and the library is well stocked with what a student might need. Official sports administration can be done a bit better by proper tryouts and intracollege competitions to make things more competitive and open for students.

Worth it for academics

No in my college placement is very good. All my seniors are placed in different companies and with healthy selery and good internship and minimum placement is 5.00 lakh per annum and maximum is 16-18 lakh

A Practical and Honest Experience at SN Patel Institute

Placement Experience:

Campus placements usually start from the 7th semester. Companies like TatvaSoft, Etech, Atul, and local industries visit the campus. The average package is around 2.5–3 LPA and the highest goes up to 4–5 LPA depending on the branch. Around 40–50% students get placed, mainly from CS/IT, while core branches have limited opportunities. After my degree, I plan to focus on gaining skills and applying for off-campus opportunities.

LJ University - They help you make a career but you have to make your life fun yourself.

This college provides me 2 years of time (Last 2 years) to apply for a weekend batch where i have to attend the college on saturdays and sundays only and can focus on my primary goals on the weekdays which in my case is preparing for upsc exam.
