Remarks

As we know there are very few colleges in india for petroleum branch according to many sites personal review for this college is quite well in this specialization. It reserve 3rd rank after IIT dhanbad and there is a government college in gujrat.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college provides latest technology, explain by industrial expert which spends many years in oil fields under the banner of some very huge names such as reliance, ONGC schlumberger etc. Our college also provide some very intresting courses like aerospace, megatronics, big data, block chain, bao and many more

Fests occur once every year There's a freshers party once every year. Passing out students are given fare well. More facultiess should be kept. Exams are easy , two exams per every sem, four per year and they are easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you want to prepare for any government examination and don't want to drop then this college is a good option with low fees and also faculty is ok. The laboratories are okay. Most of the professors are Ph.D. degree holders. After COVID lockdown the period of examination is delayed and became later than other colleges. The 1st semester examinations are late by 3 months of 2021-24 sessions.

Remarks:

The 2nd and only government state Agricture university of uttarakhand

Remarks:

Positive remark is it's a government college with good faculty. Negative remark is it is located in hilly region a little far from any local villages and here the environment is very cold all the year mostly reach upto negative in January.

Education at UPES

The system of backlogs was very unfair at our time, as our Seniors, if they had any backlogs, their CGPA would be capped 2.0/4.0~60%. However, when we got admitted in college, the whole pointer structure changed for us. We had the Pointer system set to 10.0 instead of 4.0. Nothing changed for our seniors though. If they still got a backlog, their CGPA would be capped 2.0/4.0~60%. However, if we got a backlog, our CGPA would be capped to 5.0/10.0~50% which made it pretty unfair as Companies that come for Placement don't accept students with a CGPA less than 60%. Also, the backlog fees was too high. 4000rs for each subject....Read More

UPES - The College of oppurtunities.

I have only positive reviews because I don't want my college to show its dark side on on the basis of my comment. The college is very good and when we sit in the lab we are getting a view of the belt of the Himalayas. I just love my college and I don't have the words to express how much I love it because everywhere is the graffiti everywhere is the faculties and everywhere is the cafe where you can chill out and pass your time you can even pass your time when you have no classes but also when you have classes too. nobody is going to disturb you when you have no classes but if you miss them out you lose attendance and loose the help from the teacher....Read More
