Karnatak University Dharwad is one of the top universities in Karnataka. I choose physical chemistry and studied in Department of chemistry. Dharwad is place where one can get more knowledge, Hence it's called Education Kashi.
Course Curriculum Overview
The 2 years course Chemistry was really good curriculum was good. The department was very well in academics. Faculty was very good and supportive, experienced, knowledgeable guiding us to our goal. Gudsi sir, Revankar sir, Nandibevur sir many more
Placement Experience
No since the course is non technical not much placements happened in our department at that time. No companies visit to the department for the campus interview. Alumni association was also very good and contributed during our academics
College Events
The Dharwad university campus was very beautiful green with lot of old trees and many departments in line. Extra curricular activities were very nice like cultural activities were good we made a stage dance performance vande mataram. Convocation functions were also very good
Campus Life
Sports facilities were very good there is a large university ground with gymkhana. Space for indoor games was also good. We played a lot during interdepartmental sports competitions. Library was very good with lot of books that we borrowed for study. No WiFi.
Hostel Facilities
Yes. I stayed in Nijalingappa hostel for PG students for 2 years. It was nice hostel but there was no mess in hostel. The rooms are good little bit clean and 2 persons per room. My room partner was Bahubali M Chougala from Athani Belgavi District. It was very easy to get to the hostel.
