Remarks

Good studying environment surrounded by a peaceful locality. There's hill behind the college and also the place is beautiful. The placement and faculties are also among the top in state. There's various labs and technology driven equipments to learn and hone your practical knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical engineering is an important branch of Engineering which deals with various fields of materials and automobiles etc. Labs in our college provided us with industrial exposure and also the industry visit were helpful.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement is okay not that good but they give equal opportunities to everyone and it's upto the student to grab one. The big startups like Redbus and other companies visit too. The placement of computer science was excellent.

College Events

The campus life was amazing and most memorable coz of the hostel life. The various fests add up to your memories and participation has always been fun in our college with no boundaries and barriers to select a particular domain.

Campus Life

The campus was extended to a 60 acres lush green environment with all the modern facilities. The whole campus was wifi connected with the digital as well as conventional library providing with all sorts of books.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was pretty decent with double and triple bed sharing rooms with clean toilets and washroom. The bathroom had 24 hours hot and cold water running through. The food was decent though mainly southern food was cooked but the hygiene was maintained.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Pros and cons of SIT.

My admission was through KCET . So first you will need to attend the counseling held by Karnataka examinations authority. This is the most important part, fill the colleges carefully in the preference order. After two rounds and the extended round you will be alotted a college and if you decide to admit in it you will need to pay the fees i.e 96000 through bank and then you will get the admission order.
