Remarks
You must have received a minimum of 50% in your undergraduate degree from a reputable institution. Firstly submit an application for NMAT by GMAC. You must achieve a total score of more than 240 and a minimum of 75/80 in each section. Following that, you will have WAT and PI rounds on the same day. WAT tops are moderate that can be completed within 20 mins and PI questions aren't particularly difficult.PI revolves mostly around Why MBA, Why NMIMS, About your work ex if any. Overall, the process is satisfactory however more time should be given for NMAT preparation rather than WAT and PI round.
Course Curriculum Overview
I planned to pursue MBA after graduation because I was interested in business. I applied and was accepted to Nmims since it's a well-known and established university. Here professor to student ratio is 1:60. The majority of the faculty hold a Ph.D. and have worked in the industry for at least 15-20 years. The teaching method is case-based with students being given a predetermined set of HBR articles to read and discuss during the lectures. Term-end exams last 2 hours and are not particularly difficult to pass.
Fees and Financial Aid
A student is expected to pay Rs 11 Lacs per year which includes tuition, Library fees, Laboratory fees, and other amenities such as the Internet, etc. Nmims does not offer any scholarship program. For Pharma MBA they do offer buyers scholarships for students who are eligible. Students can earn money while studying by participating in case study competitions. The fees are increased by 10% every year.
Campus Life
All students have access to an e-library through which they can access study material, books, journals, and reports. Students have access to advanced facilities like college wifi, smart board, desks with charging cables. When it comes to the fest, Euphoria is an annual cultural feast that takes place in March conducted by Nepathya. With respect to sports, Nmims has a thriving culture. Nmims provides a sports room where students can play Table tennis, carrom, and pool. Nmims is also popular for football. There are various clubs for extracurricular activities like Zephyr for dance, Verve for Fashion, Xplore for Photography, and so on. Various committees are SRF, Nepathya, Not just marketing, etc.
