Read this before joining this college

I had passed NATA exam, then applied via KEAM. While waiting for allotment, I came across this college. Applied through management quota. Initially, they had said the fees for management seats will be 1,25,000 per annum, and for government seats, the fee will be 90,000 per annum. I made the mistake of trusting their words, and applied through management quota. The next year, they raised the fees for management seats as 1,74,000 per annum, which was almost twice as that for government seats. We had no choice but to comply, as our future was in the balance, and it was our words against thiers. Please get an authorized copy of the fee structure before joining the college.

I chose this course as I am passionate about architecture. Student faculty ratio for design subjects was satisfactory. For our class of almost 38 students, we had three design faculties. Faculties were well qualified, graduated from various reputed colleges from all over India.

Fees hike without prior notice. ALWAYS discuss and try to get written authoirised fee statements before joining. The course is pretty expensive in itself. Lots of materials required for coursework, including materials for model making and sheet printouts.

There is sports events and cultural events in the college. Inter-collegiate symposiums, discussions and programs, which are very important for the overall development of students and their perception of the subject, are only open for selected students and rank holders. ZONASA events conducted in the college are controlled by the faculty along with undue interference by the management. Library is well equipped. There is no lack of amenities in classrooms.

No. There wer no Group Discussions or interviews. Just a general meeting with the applicant. No need for any particular preparations. There were no written tests. Often times, there will still be unfilled seats even after the begining of the semester.
