Remarks

Overall, I liked the college alot. I completer my B.Arch from here and it was an amazing experience for me, as I learnt alot and made good bonds with my seniors and batchmates which turned out to be quite helpful to me during studies.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is affiliated to CUSAT, Kochi. The syllabus for B.Arch is quite good and covers most of the important and essential subjects. There are a total of 10 semesters in B.Arch covering 5years for the course, combined with internal examinations.

Placement Experience

The college provides pretty good placements to meritorious students. Getting placed either on campus or off campus is easy after completing the course from this college, as the college is highly reputable.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for my B.Arch was 1lakh INR for the first year, and for subsequent semesters was around 88,000 INR. The total fee for my course was around 4.5 lakhs. The fee through management quota is quite high being around 12lakhs. There is also fee concession and scholarship opportunities for students from lower income groups and meritorious students.

Campus Life

The college regularly holds different types of workshops at college to help students gain varied knowledge. The college also actively takes part in sports. Guest lectures, competitions and seminars are also held at the college timely.

Admission

The admission in the college provided through both management quota and through counseling. The admission through costing are based on the scores of NATA or JEE scores of respective candidates. I took admission based on my NATA score, the process was quite systematic and good.

Faculty

The faculty of the college are expert architects and professional teachers with years of experience in the field of architecture and teaching. Most of the teachers were part graduate and doctorate degree holders.

Read this before joining this college

I had passed NATA exam, then applied via KEAM. While waiting for allotment, I came across this college. Applied through management quota. Initially, they had said the fees for management seats will be 1,25,000 per annum, and for government seats, the fee will be 90,000 per annum. I made the mistake of trusting their words, and applied through management quota. The next year, they raised the fees for management seats as 1,74,000 per annum, which was almost twice as that for government seats. We had no choice but to comply, as our future was in the balance, and it was our words against thiers. Please get an authorized copy of the fee structure before joining the college....Read More
