Remarks

I've done my diploma in 2020 and then I want to do a degree so that I choose diploma-to-degree (d2d). The admission process for d2d and all kinds of courses are online and I've to pay 150rs registration fees and then after a month maybe the results of the seat declaration arrived and I got admission to this college. I really didn't remember cut off marks but it was nearly 8cgpa (in diploma).

Course Curriculum Overview

Firstly the infrastructure of mechanical and all departments are so good. And all the faculties are also great. All lectures and labs are conducted on time and we can also perform all kinds of experiments which is in our syllabus. Term exams are after the end of the semester and it will take 4 to 5 months time and before that. After one or half months of starting a semester, there are midterm exams and that's not quite difficult because you learned those things so it will be easy for exams.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Currently, I'm in the 6th semester so I haven't applied for an internship yet but our senior has applied for an internship and they will start the internship after 2 weeks and now in engineering, it is compulsory to do an internship in 8th sem so I also have to do internship soon.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is a government college so fees are quite less. I have to pay 1400rs for one semester which includes exam fees also. Books cost Per semester is maybe around 1300 to 1400rs. Yeah, that's all. You have to pay this much amount for a semester. Plus they also provide scholarship facilities for MYSY and DIGITAL GUJARAT I am in obc quota so I've applied for scholarships and I received 5000 scholarships per year.

Campus Life

The campus of the college is so huge so that's good for all students and there's also different kind of activities or kind of events running in college like poster competition, speech giving, essay competition. These extra curriculum activities are keep running. We also have bat balls, footballs and volleyball also which is provided by a college so we also can play these games at the ground of our college.

Placement Experience:

the placement at vgec at decent, especially considering it is a government college with very low fees. student become eligible for campus placement from the 6 th and the main placement drives begin in the 7 th and 8 th semesters. many well known compnies visit the camppus every tear for software , core engineering and management roles. compnies like TCS, infosys, wipro , taat consultancy, adani, gsfc,and a few stertup hire students from different branches. the number of offers varies every year , but the overall trend is improving . some companies offer multiple job roles such as software engineer , QA engineering , embendede engineering , trainee engineering and analyst position . higher pacage is 5 lacks. after completing my degree , i plan to focus on improving my technical skills .

Decent college with room to grow

Placement Experience:

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester.The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree,wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also,beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects,they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.

My Life at D.D.I.T
