Remarks

I took admission on the basis of my CET Score. The admissions in this college are done through CET, JEE mains score. Application form, fees releated information can be foun on their website. Students can take full benefits of reservations as well as freeships and scholarships provided by the Maharashtra State Government.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was always fascinated by coding and the working of the applications so I choose computer Engineering. The professors of our college are very much helpful and help us understand the current Industry scenarios. They are highly qualified and have great experience throughout their teaching career. Exams are conducted in a very strict manner.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 65440 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies such as NTT Data, Raja Software Labs, TCS, Cognizant offer more internships to students with decent stipends. Roles such as Data Analyst, Full Stack developer, Game developer, web developer are offered.

Placement Experience

After 6th sem i.e after the completion of 3rd year students become eligible for placements but some can avail PPO prior also. Many companies visit our college every year. The highest package in the history of our college is of 22 LPA. A decent package is offered. Average package is 4-5 PLA and the lowest is 3.2 LPA. Companies such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, JIO, Raja Software Labs, Cognizant, KPIT Tech, etc recruit students. almost 75% students get placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are different fees for various categories of students according to the reservations and the benefits provided by the Maharashtra State Government. Scholarships for ST, SC, OBC, EWS, SEB, etc students are given according to the Government Schemes. Fees are almost the same for a particular student from 1st year to 4th year.

Campus Life

One of the best parts of College life is about the events, fests, Competitions conducted by the college throughout the academic year. Every department in the college has its own club which is handled by the students and guided by the HODs of the respective departments. Many Tech, as well as nontech events, are conducted by this club. Our College also has a Dance club, EDC Club. College also has a library.

Good Experince at VU

Placement Experience:

from 4th year all the students gets offers of placements. and from 3rd year students started getting Internships. also there is google dev groups club in house placements in our college. i don't know in details but from my side it could be 15lpa highest and lowest as in every colleges like 2,3lpa something arround. Almost 80% students gets placements who all are focusing on there carrer my plan is to get settle in luxurious lifestyle after getting my degree

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Honestly the placement is good in college but student's are not able to get that placement because they don't work on their skills . Then how could college place them although College does their best in placement. Almost 80% students get placement in our college .the highest package last year was 12.5 lakhs per annum. Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year that is 7th semester . A lot of companies visit the campus like TCS , INFOSYS , WIPRO etc batch of 2025 got 363 offers . just money making college

Remarks:

The college management was just running an money collecting machine. there were no payments to the staff. every year most of the staff would resign and they would apply new staff. not only the staff even the principle was changed in last 5 years the college had gotten 5 principles. the college had also not refunded the deposit amount which the had taken from each students during the admission time.

I chose this college because this college is very reputed in Pune for engineering specially electrical engineering. Admission process - You should apply through CAP process to get admission in this college. MHTCET + JEE, both scores can get you admitted in this college as there is also an all India quota. After the CAP processes are completed, you can also attend it's spot round as they are also conducted in a very systematic manner. Why this college over others? Pune vidyarthi gruha college of engineering and technology (pvgcoet) a overall great college with affordable fees

This is one of the top colleges In pune. This was the reason for me to choose this college. Comparing pvg with colleges like aissms, dy patil, modern, and many more pvg is far better in terms of placements. Didn't had the marks required to get to other colleges like vit viit pict coep pccoe etc so I choose pvg. I got a confirmed admission for keystone college but it is worse that pvg so I chose pvg. To get admission in pvg college you need to fill a form of cet. Mht cet is one of these examples. If you have passed 12th standard then apply for mht cet.
