Remarks

After completing my 12th I decided to pursue Civil Engineering So I learned from my Seniors that we have to write an Entrance Test called TS EAMCET in which you have to score more than 40 marks to qualify. I Scored 60 marks and got Admission into WITS. The application fee for Eamcet is Around 250 Rs and you can apply at any meeseva after providing Relevant 10th and 12th documents. There is some reservation for SC/ST students they can get admission even with fewer marks scored. The admission process is very easy and less time taking.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course gives a comprehensive Insight into Civil Engineering and its applications. It is a four year course with 8 semesters each year having 2 semesters. I choose this course because I like Architecture and design very much. The Student faculty ratio in our college is approximately 40:1. The faculty members are very well experienced and have good knowledge of the subject. They explain every topic with examples for easy understanding. There are Two term exams every semester and slip tests every weekend which are not very hard.

Fees and Financial Aid

The is very little compared to other Engineering colleges. It is 45000 Rs per year and there is some additional fee like library and labs. You can pay the fees on Installment Basis after speaking to the director. Students from minority communities can apply for state government scholarships and other students can apply for Merit based scholarships provided by Central Government. Apply the scholarship at any Internet centre nearby. No jobs are available on the campus.

Campus Life

2.5

The campus life is not that good there is very little space for any extracurricular activities. There is no playground in the college vicinity we have to go very far to play any games. No fest are held in the college for nearly 3 years even though we have requested the director many times. The library is pretty decent sometimes there is books shortage. Labs are not well equipped. The classrooms are somewhat good but need some Improvement.

Hostel Facilities

4

I stayed In the college Hostel which is worth the fees paid in my view. The fee is 70000 per year which i think is affordable. The Facilities are good clean rooms are provided with new bedsheets. The food is Amazing Chicken is given two times a week and the morning breakfast is different every day. You can opt for laundry or do it yourself. If you go out then you should come back before 7'0 clock. For registration speak to the admission branch. There are also PG hostels nearby you can check that out too.

Other Applied Colleges

Kakatiya Institute of Technology | B.Tech(civil Engineering)

I got less rank So I didn't get seat in the college.

In convener qouta so i have no chance to choose branch or college . If i have a chance to change college defintly i will .In this college first the mindset of the founder, director should change from school pattern to college pattern and they should focus on college implementation not in students personal issues .The exams will happen after every 4 months in between 2 months internals will be conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good as of now. But can change a little bit becuase in 4 years we will have 8 sems and 40 subjects. Subjects should be divided in such a way that it should not get burden on the students. In some sems they will just 4 or 3 subjects that will effect other sems by having 7or 8 subjects at a time. That is really tough to clear all subjects at a time that may leave pressure on the students. And another suggestion in teaching methods was therotical class and practical class has to be done parallelly because if theory classes of particular topic has been completed in this week and pratical classes of that particular topic will be executed in some other week lab sessions. That may create confusion in students and there might get forgot what they have learnt in that week. If the theory and practical classes happened parallely they will gain hands on experience on how the things will work and they can understand more better.
