Remarks
I got admission in the MBA program based on my bachelor's degree along with my CAT scores of 70% followed by a personal interview round. As for the application process, I filled out my application form online at NSIT Delhi's official website. The process cost Rs.1000. My CAT scores were not very good, hence I was looking for a decent university with not a very high cut-off. I found NSIT through the internet and found that it has been recognized by several prestigious ranking agencies of India.
Course Curriculum Overview
My 2-years program's curriculum imparted broad-based knowledge in the field of management practices and their application in addressing the challenges of the emerging global business environment and society. A lot of workshops and guest seminars were also hosted for our better exposure and understanding of the subjects. We were taught by highly skilled and qualified professionals. The majority of my faculty members held postgraduate degrees while some of them were ex-civil professionals and Ph.D. holders.
Placement Experience
After graduation, it was not very hard for me to bag a decent job offer. My institute ties with some of the top companies, hence companies like Amazon India, KPMG, Maruti Suzuki, Reliance Jio, Accenture, Bharti Airtel, and many others participated in our 2021 placement drive and made salary offers ranging from 5.5- 6.5 lakhs and the maximum offered to us was about 14.5 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
For my 2-year MBA program, I had to pay a total of 4.3 lakhs. I didn't have to pay the whole amount at once, rather I paid it in two instalments. The total amount included my tuition fees, exam fees, and other fees. My institute offered various kinds of financial assistance schemes in the form of scholarships, fee concessions and student loans. They were mostly given out on the basis of merits.
Campus Life
At my campus, a wide range of facilities was available including faculty & staff residences, hostels, cooperative mess, sports complex, banks, post office, shopping complex, etc. We could put our knowledge into practice through workshops and various clubs activities. Some of the most famous clubs and societies on campus were Technical Societies, Non-Technical Societies, Recreational Clubs, Literary Clubs, Automotive Clubs, Community Service Initiatives, and Students' Affairs Council.
