Remarks

You must have qualified 10+2 with a decent percentage. All details regarding admissions are updated frequently on the official website i.e www.vit.ac.in .The only improvement I want is, First the cutoff should be released branch wise and then the counseling process must be started. As it costs around 5500 for counseling. Everything else is awesome. You can join all the four campuses of VELLORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY through a single exam that is VITEEE

Course Curriculum Overview

I opted for the CSE branch and got admission to it through VITEEE Counselling. This is the first university in India to have 100%, doctoral faculty. Which directly reflects into their teaching. Exams are always taken on time and there is a continuous assessment scheme.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Maximum companies take you on an internship and then offer PPO that is a Pre-placement offer. So ultimately you need to focus on your studies and coding from the first year itself. Mainly you need to know Python, c++, and Java for your placements.

Placement Experience

At about the end of the 6th semester, the companies start coming for placements. Here, we have a centralized placement i.e placement for all the four campuses BHOPAL, AP, CHENNAI, and VELLORE all occurring at VIT, VELLORE. But keep in mind to maintain a good cgpa if you want to get into super dream companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Your fee depends upon your rank in VITEEE. The fee structure is divided into 4 to 5 categories and varies from 1,98,000 to 4,98,000. Hostel charges vary from around 1,20,000 to 1,90,000 per year based on the room you chose.

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome. It is compulsory for you to join at least two clubs. You have a large variety of options to choose your club. All sports facility is present inside the campus, outdoor as well as indoor.

After the 7th sem, internship opportunities arrive in Vit Bhopal, and there are many of them, almost 1 or 2 a week, if not greater than that And in the 4th year, the students are eligible for placements The highest package was RS 58 LPA The average is 8 to 9 LPA and the lowest is 3 to 4.5 LPA

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.
