Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose college is affiliated by National Council for Teacher’s Education in the year 1995 to offer Bachelor of Education and it is also approved by University Grants Commission under Sec. 12 (B) and 2 (f) in the year 1968. In the year 2007, the college has also got approval from NAAC.

Campus Life

The college has a decent infrastructure, highly qualified faculty members and a conductive environment. Its campus is situated in the heart of the Kolkata city in a very posh area. The library includes a pretty good collection of books, journals, and periodicals on various relevant subjects. There is also a separate reading room to provide a tranquil space for studying.

Placement Experience:

The college has great deals with corporate sector in order to provide placements to the students. However, the BBA students mostly gets oppyrtunity in sales department. Which is not always appealing for the students who doesn't have a interest in sales. So, just that need to be changed. Although, I am talking about 2019, hopefully this has changed now.
