Eligibility for the course is 55% in Bsc (chemistry, botany, microbiology, life science. The application form link is given in the top box one should pay 100 to receive the user id & password on the college website. Reservations are only provided to SC/ST.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I am a botany grad I opted for this course as it's related to medicine and instrumentation. The student is from diff BSc degrees. Teachers here are highly qualified but the teaching methods are traditional. The exam is conducted online due to this pandemic, proper apps are used to conduct the exam online.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Ayush, Himalaya, Ayur, are some companies that offer internships with stipends. Quality Control, Quality Assurance product testing. Working with highly qualified PhD holders and getting experience for making your cv strong.

Placement Experience

At 4th sem students are eligible for campus placement. Ayush pharmacy industry are visited The percentage of students for placement should be above 60%. I am preparing for SRF to join research teams after getting a degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the first term of the course is 4400 But we can pay it in instalments. It can be paid in one form or offline. haven't got any scholarships or jobs as I have recently joined the course.

Campus Life

Birla is known for its fest throughout the year, it has a fest name: "Pravah "which is conducted at year end in December. There are various competitions and guest lists organised by the college facilities. There is a sports club, NSS, NCC, and Rotaract club

Interview Experience

Yes, there is a common entrance exam for this course one should have a basic knowledge of chemistry, zoology, botany, microbiology and life sciences. I got references from the internet to prepare and some basic information.

The best place to get admission

Placement Experience:

Students who completed their masters are eligible for placements. Companies include Pharma, Biotech, R&d, agri companies, food industries, we can apply there. Well from 3rd semester students can apply and visit different companies previously, haidrabad, banglore are visited by our seniors. Students get salary of 30000-40000 ,there are students selected for multiple high rated companies. 30-40% Students get placed. I want to pursue Phd from India as I am more focus in research.

Placement Experience:

Placements in Fergusson are pretty good. Students are eligible for sitting in the placement drives from the 3rd semester, we also get Pre-placment activities and tests before the drive starts. We get companies like Axtria, Vois , bluepineapple etc on campus. The highest package is 10 - 12 lakhs and 4-6 lakhs on an average. In my batch out of the 30 people we 20 are placed so far on campus.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the GIPE are decent. This year the highest package offered was 18 lakhs per annum by Deloitte and IDFC FIRST Bank. Although the placements are not 100% but it's around 60%. Students need to work hard and score well in aptitude test and they should start the preparation from the second semester onwards so that they can easily manage their end semester exams as well as the aptitude test. The average placement package is around 8-9 lakhs. My plan is to get a corporate job and gain some experience and exposure in the corporate world and learn how the things actually work. Many companies that come to the college are looking for data analytics role. The ratio of the companies looking for consultant, risk analyst is less based on market demand and other circumstances.

By the end of sem3 itself, the postgraduates are deployed into interviews for certain internships. But if you are with good academic scores and knowledge you can even get directly placed. Every individual is given 3 chances by the college to get and crack the interview but if the student is not able to then he is guided to where to apply but mostly ICRI makes sure everyone is placed as the college proudly stays with its 100% placement tag line. As I told here there are varied background people here with different needs of roles, the highest package I have seen getting is 15L pa to the lowest of 3L pa which even depends upon the company to your broad spectrum of knowledge. To specify which companies come here for recruitment are sun pharma, Cipla, and many more there are all 20+ companies that come and hire the intellectuals. To specify about me I am planning to get a CRC post as a start for CRA in the future.

PG not given any campus you will get a job on your ability. We have to prepare for set net after MSc but there are some companies visited college like Wipro. They provide job but the salary is around 25000 per month.
