Placements

A student must qualify either CG PET Or JEE for the course. Application forms are available after counselling in mid August. The application fee is 500. Application dates come late if it department makes it early it will be helpful for students.

I choose this field to gain technical knowledge as it was a part of my interest. Faculty to student ratio is 1:60. Most of the faculty are PhD holders or have done Mtech. Semester exams are held after every 5-6 months. Exam pattern comes in moderate level but easy to pass.

Byjus, TCS and Accenture are companies for which I applied roles offered as a sales manager, software engineer. Students are allotted to a project of their interest that clarifies their doubts and technical terms.

From the 6th semester, students can give interviews for placement. Byjus, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Pentagon, Accenture, prism cement, ultratech etc. 60% of students get placed. After degree students opt for M.tech or the public sector.

The fees are quite expensive. Scholarships are available for st/sc, BPL students with certain terms and conditions. Financial assistance is provided to students whose parents were passed during covid. After the Campus selection stipends are available.

An annual fest SAMVID is organised every year in the college in January or February month. A wide variety of books related to the syllabus and other subjects are available in the college library. Classes are equipped with all teaching equipment like smart classes and desktops. Sports are performed along with studies every month. A social group NSS was formed by students to help and educate people.

Each room is facilitated with fans, bed and cupboards and have accommodation of 4 in a room for the first year. Meal quality is moderate. Registration is done by the college administration. Many PG are available near college students can opt for that if needed.
