Decent but there is room for improvement

Score a decent rank in VITEEE for 1st category preference for any course. Eg: atleast 60k-70k. VIT takes its own exam for admissions also known as VITEEE. The application form and fees can be found VITs official site. Keep in touch with the site to get application details, dates and fees. I would like to see the college reduce their counselling fee to provide seats to the students once their result is out.

I chose Mechanical Engineering as i was interested in Automobiles. The teachers here have all completed their PhDs from a very reputable college and have a lot of experience in the teaching field. The faculty to student ratio is normally 1:40. The teachers use the CALTECH method to teach which involves group discussions and no back benchers and overall a lot of focus on each students behavorial preperation and attentiveness.

At the moment many get internships with more than 20,000 INR being offered per month by big companies like Amazon and Flipkart. Personal projects and side courses can help a lot in securing an internship at reputable companies,

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for placements. Many big companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Bosch and many more have recruited many students from the college. Almost all students either get placements or internships and those who dont usually have opted for a masters course and have no plan to get a job for the time being. Personally i would suggest opting for a masters course.

There are no campus jobs, scholarships may be provided to the top 100 ranks in the VITEEE examination. The tution fees for the 1st category are as low as 1,98,000 making it much cheaper than even some IITs.

Annual fests, as well as tech fests, are conducted annually although due to covid it hasnt taken place for the last 2 years. Books and journals are not widely available in the library. Classrooms amenties and pretty good and the teaching style can be liked by many. there are not many grounds right now on the campus but many are under development and are expected to be ready by mid 2022. Many clubs and chapters are present in the college as well as competitive teams.

The menu and quality of food are of very good quality and maybe liked by many. The room consists of lighting, a fan, a bunk style bed with a table, and a common mirror in the room. Hostel registration is provided to each student during the admission process and can also be accessed later at any time at the hostel office. Prices may seem a bit high so affordability is a big question.
