Entrance Preview

I took comedk examination which was held after my PU 2 exams.good college and have heard a lot from other people.. and also one of the top ranked college in Karnataka.

Course Curriculum Overview

Very good, there are many opportunity for the students and there is a research department and there are many teachers participate and help the students. Students are given many opportunity and events are held to showcase the talent of the students and there are prices given for the best one

Admission

There is a exam which is held for PU 2 pass out students called comedk which is held after PU 2 examination in which many students participate and even i had participated in it and i had written and scored a good rank and when i approached for the counselling i got selected there and later payed fees and got admitted in college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum has the necessary subjects of the branch...It is constantly updated every year to adhere to relevancy and comphrehensiveness of the course..My department of AIML teaches us the necessary computer subjects such as Nature Inspired computing, Deep learning etc and also the Maths and Stats whch is required for machine learning is though too ( Like Maths for machine learn and statistical modellign, inferential statistics, time series analysis etc)..These subjects also have lab components which help us prepare for real-world applications. But some of the older subjects on the other hand which might be core computer science or in first year..common subjects like CAED and others are not required and outdated. The frequency and timings of exams is moderate..neither good nor bad

My Real Experience as a First Year DSAI Student at IIIT Dharwad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice

Though i needed cse with cybersecurity but i didnt get it so i went with Robotics and ai. In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year
