FDDI is especially known for its Footwear designing course from the UG level. Its application mode is online and this course is extremely popular among fashion designing students.

Course Curriculum Overview

This is a four years course that has subjects related to footwear fashion. The popularity and demand of footwear with its innovative design finds an upsurge with the increase of love for this course. This design course equips with a combination of marketing and aesthetic principles. The basic subjects that are taught in the course are product design, product costing, manufacturing technology, product knowledge etc.

Placement Experience

Companies like Adidas, Puma, Nike etc give placement to the institute. The package ranges from Rs 3 lacs-5 lacs. Almost 80% of the students remain either opted for pursuing higher studies or gain experience as part-time jobs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fee for the course is Rs 6,23,000. The exam fee is Rs 2,000 for every 8 semesters.

Fees and Financial Aid

The institute doesn't offer any scholarship of its own but it facilitates the sponsorship process by arranging or forwarding scholarship applications for eligible students as per defined criteria.

Campus Life

10% of seats of the campus are booked for NRI candidates. Students are participating in different kinds of festive events organised by the campus.

Hostel Facilities

Students who will take hostel accommodation need to submit one time refundable security deposit of Rs 5,000. The hostel fee is about Rs 18,000 per semester.

Admission

Basic eligibility for the B.Des program is 10+2 level education in India or Abroad. Additionally, students need to pass the national level AIST examination conducted by the institute. Some seats are reserved for NRI candidates.

Remarks:

They need to install streetlights till the new hostel building as it does get creepy and we did have few accidents during the night time. They need to change the girls hostel main gate security from old men to really young guy men who can actually run after goons when they harass or catcall the girls.
