Remarks

Admissions are done through the K-CET entrance exam. ELIGIBILITY - should clear the required cutoff in K-CET. Application forms will be given in the college itself during admission. Reservation benefits - SNQ quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I was interested in the electrical field like how the transformers work, how the generated electricity is being sent to the industries and houses. Teachers are well qualified. Excellent teaching methods. Term exams were of a moderate level.

Internships Opportunities

Students get internships in SVIT itself, no need to go anywhere outside to search for internships. Stipends / non-stipends internships are also available. Not only for the final year students, but even the 3rd year students also get internship opportunities .

Placement Experience

The placements are good. Many students got placed in IT giants like TCS, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA, and many more with good packages. A good number of offers were made. The average package stands around 4.5 - 5 lac per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure - Reasonable fees structure. Financial assistance - installments are available. Campus jobs - a good amount of students are recruited every year from every department with a good package. Scholarships are also available.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. Library books are available. Sports and other curriculum activities are conducted. Inter-college matches are conducted. NSS and NCC activities are conducted. Good infrastructure.

From 6th semester we will get the placement assist .almost all mnc and top companies in india visits the college , namely cognizant ,oracle, tcs , infosys , capgemini , accenture , mu sigma , and many others along with startups . few companies offers direct fte roles, whereas few take students as interns and provide fte(full time employment).package will be between 3 to 36 lpa. rules during college placement drive are there will be 3 buckets , less than 7 lpa bucket 1 , 7-15 lpa bucket-2, above 15lpa bucket -3 , if a student gets any offer in specified bucket then he/she wont be eligible to apply for companies withe the salary range of that bucket. They provide international placement opportunities also , specially the zenken company collaboration , helps to get japan companies placement assist.

Placement Experience:

Generally I pefferd this college because of the college's reputation in placments . Students generally get placed into company's in 7th sem . Generally companies like TATA, IBM, Infosys, Amazon , Wistron, Accenture, Xoriant, Hp etc . generally 800 + students gets offers . Highest package is around 30+ Lpa and avearge package is 7 Lpa .MY plan is to try for both placements and also Gate examination
